Hey gals!!
Im on the hunt for a new bath wash. I have been using Ella Bache Foral Oil!! It's just divine!! If you havent tried it I highly recommended it!! Its an absolute god sent to dried out fake tanned skin. Helps prolong a fake tan by like a billion years i swear!!:chuckle:
But i'm bored of it and im looking for something super lush to wash with. I'm looking for something that leaves your skin completely lush!! I have dry body skin so it has to be super nourishing. Any brand. I like the look of the decleor oils. Has anyone tried??
I prefer something non-foaming. I have the new Pamolive Cashmere body wash atm! HATE HATE HATE IT!! I can feel the sodium lauryl sulphate eating up my oils :flames: :saber:
Any and all recommendations appreciated?? Has to smell hella yummy too!!!:hugs:
I would love something from Adore but I'm open to stores as well. Lush??
Thanks gals
Much Love

TBA - Lush stuff is beeootiful. Also check out the Laura Mercier Cream Bath range - just divine. You drizzle it into the bath with a honey dropper thing. They all smell good and are very luxe. Exxy but worth it!

The Luxury Bath Melts are nice and I also like the Buttercreams. They don't foam up but are very moisturising and leave you beautifully scented. Almond and Skinny Dip are delish.

Anything from lush in the way of bath and shower products is brilliant. I love their products. I also love Jo Malone bath oils. The smell heavenly when added to a warm bath!

I have been using the Aveeno range of body products just recently and they are particularly good, they are based on colloidal oatmeal but dont hold out for a pleasant smell - these are designed to treat dry and itchy skin conditions.
You wash with the Daily Moisturising Body wash and then apply the body oil (Skin Relief Shower and Bath Oil), lightly rinse and pat dry. Only disappointment is that the wash contains SLS and the oil contains mineral oil!

Yeah, I'm with PCC, Jo Malone Bath Oils are lovely. At Valentine's time, I saw one that was just all roses, this gorgeous pinky red colour, and it smells so, so good :)

Hi TBA,
The Lush dreamwash is gorgeous. It is pink and is one of the most hydrating shower washes I have ever used. Jo Malone is available in David Jones Melbourne City store and Elizabeth Street in Sydney. I am not sure about other places.

Just avoid the Lush shower gel that has the word "olive" in it. I smelt it in the store and liked it, but it has a really masculine, after-shave like smell! Just a warning!

Hey Luisa,
Phew!! Thanks for the warning. Might see if the man likes it. He's soo picky and its hard to find something that doesnt flare up his KP. Maybe I'll attack him with Dreamwash hahaha :chuckle: :p :D
Soo going to hit Lush tomorrow!!! :clapping:

Some of their shower gels are certainly a bit interesting in the smell department. I had one called Sonic Death Monkey and well that was um interesting! However I guess they cater for every corner of the market and of course not every product is for everyone.
My favourite shower gel of all time is by Lush. It's called Snow Fairy and they only bring it out at Christmas each year. It's pink and very sweet smelling I bought 5 litres of it last Christmas lol!:chuckle:

5 Litres WOW!! I've smelt the Dream Cream before and it was just LUSH, excuse the pun! If the wash is as good or better i will definitely be getting the 5L size if they still do that. Do you mind if I ask if it was expensive??
I saw that Sonic Death Monkey product on their sight. :chuckle: Hilarious!! What did it smell like??

I can't remember what I paid for the Snow Fairy now. I think it was around $150. The dream wash is around $20 per tub I think form memory. As for the Sonic Death Monkey well lets just put it politely shall we:vomit: :vomit: :vomit: :vomit: :vomit: :vomit:

Luisa it is super sweet smelling. It smells like cotton candy and has glitter in it. Maybe not quite your thing but Laura would love it. It was actually made by (or ingredients selected by) the creator of lush's little girl who is around 5 or 6 I think.
I know trust me to go for soemthing sweet and sickly!

Ditto!! I might have a look at it tomorrow and I'll let you know how I go. Wonder if it still tastes minty. I like a nice strong minty fresh toothpaste. I guess I could put the colour aside if it tasted the same as the regular stuff.

My dad tells me that his father used to brush his teeth with coal during the war and he had the whitest teeth with no cavaties! Might be something to this black toothpaste?!

OK sounds like I need to get back onto the Lush bandwagon! :penguin:
It's been a few years since I've used any Lush products. My first ever was one of their bathbombs - think it was a rose scented one - that I was given as a gift. I still remember using it and then smelling like a rose for the whole day and night! It was - Lush!
Have also used one of their scrubs that you have to keep in the friday - that was great too.
I'm keen to try one of their bodywashes as I normally just use the palmolive (currently using Cahsmere) and although I have no problems with it I'm sure it could be much more hydrating than it is! :shakehead:

The essential oils in the bath oil are Grapefruit, Jasmine and Ylang Ylang. So it's a citrusy heady white floral scent.
The Shizen Lip products all smell like lemon myrtle - yum :)

Gals if you like a good bargain and a bit of variety get your hands on a mini-set of OPI's Avojuicies body washes and matching moisturisers. You get three 'flavours' (Melon & Coconut, Cran & Berry and Grapefruit) for $14.95. I've tried the Melon & Coconut and Cran & Berry washes and they're very nice indeed. I think Grapefruit will be a good 'pick me up' too.
You probably need to be a fan of foodie scents; which ordinarily I'm not, but I like these. Fun to have a few to choose from as well!

Yes I love this one too but my real favourite is the Pink Grapefruit, which I was really surprised by as I'm not a big citrus fan. But it's more soft than citrusy. I'm going to purchase the full size!

Hi PCC!
On your glowing recommendation of the Dream Wash I finally found myself in my Lush store today. The SA was fabu! She did a little demo on my hand of the wash and it was divine - and then she used the Dream Cream afterwards - also divine!
I mentioned that I wish I could try before I buy and she gave me two little sample pots - I should have enough for two showers and enough for two body lotion applications. yay! can't wait for my shower tonight! :penguin:

Never fear my lovelies you can always buy your Lush online. It arrives within 3 days of ordering. We don't have Lush in Tassie so I am always ordering. I make a large order at least once a month. The staff at my post office love it because the smell comes out of the box and goes right through the post office. They get a bit stroppy with me if I go in to pick it up as soon as it's been delivered as they love the smell. lol!

I got The Body Shop's new Shea Shower Cream yesterday and it is so beautiful. I used it this morning (so moisturising) and follwed with the Shea Body Lotion. I also put the Shea Body Butter on my elbows and dry patches. All in all a rather Shea day today for me.
