At this time of year, choccies are impossible to avoid.
What is your preferred Easter chocolate?
I have always loved Cadbury's and Haighs etc... but recently I descovered Darrell Lea easter eggs and they were absolutely delicious!! I was surprised and impressed.
Mmmmmmmmmmm, Darrell Lea nougat easter eggs are to die for!! I am the biggest fan of Cadbury Creme eggs. I seriously can't get enough at this time of year...

Jaime you have to try the Darrell Lea eggs this year. I only had the little eggs that come in a bag (they have the cute foil wrapping, with little pictures on the foil!). They just melt in your mouth. Mmmmmmm chocolate craving now!!

There was a feature on easter eggs on Target last night. They tested the amount of cocoa butter, sugar and vegetable fats in chocolate.
Cadbury came out best, Lindt second and chocolate from The Warehouse (not sure what brands they were) had vegetable fat in them...ewwwww! :vomit:
I love the packs of Cadbury marshallow caramel eggs, i eat whole packets to myself.:drunk:

I haven't been able to stop myself with the Cadbury mini crunchie eggs - or the rabbit! Ohhhh so yummy!
Got a pack of the Cadbury Mint Chip mini eggs yesterday - they are good too - remind me of mint choc chip icecream.
Lindt is always a fave - the solid bunny ears!
Have a choccie craving today and nothing here at work so will duck out to the Darrell Lea near me and get some of theirs for a test drive - I can't not try them after your rave reviews! :ashamed:

You guys are making me sooo jelous. I am on a strict diet (mostly organic foods and juices) due to my medical condition so I wont be getting any choccies this year. I was thinking of getting some and stashing them away until later when I can have a normal diet again but I think I wouldn't be able to resist the temptation and would scoff the lot!

Oh yay!
Just found out our work easter eggs this year are Cadbury Bunnies or Bilbys! Thank goodness!
Last year we all got eggs but they were the cheap choccie stuff that I'm sure was from overflow or somewhere - not good at all!
Not huge on chocolate. I still have eggs left over from Easter last year! :redcheeks: I'm a chips girl...

I don't really eat chocolate so all the Easter eggs have passed me by this year!! However I am partial to those strawberries and cream swirly ones white choc swirly ones, not sure of the brand....oooh and the Darrel Lea ones that are covered in hundreds and thousands!! But my all-time faves are the hard candy lolly ones, you know the ones in pastel colours that taste like conversation hearts? I love them!
Damn. I know I said I don't really eat chocolate but tomorrow I'm going to get some, dammit.

At last! I only crave chocolate infrequently (still desperate to try that Cookie Dough Kit Kat though!) We did a major chuck out of things hiding in cupboards and chucked out stuff from last year too! Much prefer lollies if I am having something sweet. Sorry to disrupt your Easter Chocci thread girls!

Thought it was time this thread was revived.
What type of eggs are you planning to give/hoping to receive for Easter '08?
Well, the only eggs I was going to give were to Mr23's stepdaughter, but now I don't know if I will even get to see her.
Mr12 is getting Jackass2.5 - the DVD
Mr18 is getting a zip up jacket
Hubby will get Fererros
Mr18's girlfriend will get Lindt.
I am not holding out hopes for any eggs - and I swear, if anyone gives me a creme egg, they will be shot!

My hubby went to play golf at an insane hour this morning so when I got up I found a pile of easter eggs and a chocolate bunny on the mat in front of the bed, then easter eggs in the bath (with my collection of rubber duckies sniffing at them, lol), then I went to walk down the stairs and every step was littered with eggs! By the time I picked everything up they filled an entire hamper-sized basket!

That's what he said, lol :chuckle:. The thing is it was his birthday last week and I bought him a huge chocolate fudge and cream cheese cake and gave his easter eggs to him early as I was too excited. So there really is an obscene amount of chocolate in the house at the moment!

I can not believe the amount of junk that boy can put away - he has literally stuffed himself stupid all day. What's even more frustrating is that he is a buff as.:shakehead:

Here's what I got:
From:
My brother - M.A.C Fafi Lip Glass in Cult Fave (already had it but I love it soe doesn't matter) and Sugar Trance. Fafi Blush in Hipness (coral peachy colour) and Strobe Lip Conditioner Tinted Sticks in Strobe Blossom and Strobe Current.
My Mum and Dad - Peter Alexander Jim Jams, A books called Daddy's Little Earner, Cute Black Ballet Flats and Jo Malone French Lime Blossom Candle.
My Brothers Partner - M.A.C Strobe Tinted Lip Conditioner Stick in Strobe Kiss and a Sanity Gift Voucher.
J's Sister - Bloom Handwash in Vanilla Bean and Two of Blooms new nail polishes.
J's Parents - Cupcakes and Gold Class Movie Tickets for J and I.
J (the boy) - Necklace from Tiffany.
I did so well and also got a heap of chocolate from other friends etc. Don't know why I got so spoiled at Easter this year. Mum, Dad, my brother and J always buy me a present for Easter but I think his family did this year as they came to Tassie to have Easter with us.

I got an orange egg pack from my dad, which is awesome, I love orange.. And some Lindt from mummy, mmm.
Clea gave me a Lindt pack which had the carrots in them, and she gave me the best present ever.. I went on a treasure hunt last night following pieces of paper around the house (go to the DVD player, where a note would say to go somewhere else..) and it led to a handmade card, and a small red-wrapped box with a ribbon and a poem which basically said not to open it as it was a box full of love. :D I couldn't imagine there is a better present out there than a box of love. :hugs:

I really didn't had to problem with them and I didn't want to get braces to "fix them" because I just saw it as how I was. Why should I change it you know?
