What are you wearing right now?

Nuff said.

I'm in my jammies - purple Bonds hipster pants & Peter Alexander leopard print LS top.

Wa-hey! Gotta love the Bonds.

I'm still in work clothes, lolling around on the floor cause I'm too tired to change (fitted black pants from Cue and grey and black striped top with black cami underneath). But at least I've kicked off the pesky heels. Bare feet enough to make me feel relaxed (but jammies would be better, if only...I could...drag...self....to cupboard...eh, bugger it).

Sitting in bed in my pj's - Sussans pants (combination of white, greeen and brown), with a cream coloured singlet!

I'm in purple and blue jammie shorts and an orange singlet....I also have cling wrap on my head and am covered in fake tan. If only the men we date could see how we look when we're engaging in secret single behaviour :)

I just got to work. Its casual day friday, so Im wearing my dark denim skinny-type jeans. Black ballet fats, white singlet with a dark grey caped-sleeved cardi over the top, and my nails painted red. Hair in a pony tail. Fringe blowdried to the side.

You wouldn't happen to be in the public service would you Elizabeth??

Casual Friday for me too. Seven jeans, pink long-sleeved top, silky striped scarf and silver ballet flats. Hair in a chignon with a big coiffed fringe. Love a good bit of teasing in the morning!

Casual Friday at work today so I'm wearing my balck Mavi skinnies, red ballet flats, a white singlet (holy cow it's cold in the Captial today), a blue/grey tartan type pattern shirt from USA and a 100% Merino Wool (doing everything I can to support our farmers!) grey cardy. I feel goo-oo-oood.

Oh! Also I wore my blue mittens in this morning. I heart cold weather.

Hey this thread is like that wrong number phone call i had the other night.... minus the heavy breathing

Jeans and T-shirt. Pretty much the same every day. Thats the great thing about being a guy you need about 3 pairs of jeans and just need to rotate the T-shirts. Of which i have over 40

We do casual Friday at work too! (Well... it's casual here everyday which I love!)

I am wearing dark skinny leg jeans (for the first time in a year), hot boots to the knee, which are brown croc leather around the foot and up the sides and have the most amazing fabric-y patterned bits around the legs. Sounds weird but I loooove them. A white Morrison tank top and a green 100% wool ribb-y zip-up hooded Sabatini knit! I love this too. SO comfy! I love winter too!

I'm wearing a white pencil skirt and black short-sleeve turtleneck (I got dressed at 5am this morning and then to my dismay I turned on Sunrise to see that Mel is wearing the same top as me - the hide!), and silver flat sandals. Turtleneck and pencil skirt don't add up to flat shoes but I couldn't do high heels all day so style had to be sacrificed.

well at present I am in my Jarmies yet again. However I had my first venture out of the house today for a post operative appointment so I actually got dressed!

I wore a long black skirt (because pants and jeans hurt too much from the incision at the moment), My Manolo Blahnik stilettos (which nearly killed me) and a black cashmere twin set. In hindsight I think I might have looked like I was going to a funeral (possibly my own considering how pale I am at the moment)! They say that shoes that cost so much and are well made should not hurt the feet. I would just like to say that is a total load of rubbish, the truth is stilettos = pain!

Today I'm wearing a cream satin button-up blouse with a cropped grey cardigan and my black, slim fitting Ojay pants. I love these pants because they're long but there's something about the cut that makes my hips look small than they are. I don't know if I like this. What a conundrum.

At work ...

Choc brown cuffed pants (from the US - my fav pair!), a white strapless top with a peacock blue cardi over the top (can't rock around the office in strapless tops!)

Have the same colour blue sparkly earrings on, my hair is out and straightened and shiny for once (have lunch with the girls today and then drinks after work with another friend)

And cream peep toe shoes with a little kitten heel... feeling rather nice for a work day! :glee:

That combo does sound lovely Miss N. Especially the peacock blue cardi, not many people can pull that colour off so I bet it looks fab.

At work too; smart-cas for me...sass + bide jeans, white tee, black crocheted cardi (sounds ye olde laydee but actually very nice) and black peep toes. Hair in a chignon. I love using that word. It's really just a loose bun but chignon sounds so much more sophisticated!

For some reason the morning sickness, nausia, fatigue and inability to stand for long oeriods of is getting worse (am home today as only work 3 days a week now, its all I can manage, and I'm not doing those very well) This top is getting tighter!! In fact all my clothes are!! :penguin: Is it too soon to be getting bigger? I'm 13 1/2 weeks. The reason I'm asking is that I keep reading that your not supposed to put on much weight in the first 20 weeks of pregnancy... I've put on AT LEAST 5 kilos, maybe a touch more, is this normal???

Everyone's different. My sister put no weight on for months, even when the bump was showing, but in total I think she only put on 10kgs and has lost all that plus more a year on. Don't stress, the most important thing is you are eating nutritious foods for you and the baby! :hugs:

I'm not speaking from personal experience but both my sister and sister in-law experienced tighter clothes around the 3months stage. Its not like you busting out of your clothes, you can still wear them can't you? they are just firmer than before. My sister in-law is preggas with twin boys and she had al ittle pot belly at just 3 months, and you could easily tell she was pregnant and not just fat. She was small to begin with so she has got a long way to go, they are due in March 2008.

There have been so many people in my home town that have popped out kids and i didn't even know they were pregnant even though i saw them around town.

When i'm feelin self concious when i'm out shopping and people start to look me up and down i just start to rub my belly like i was pregnant, you should see these peoples faces change. 2 seconds ago they were judging me because i was a fatty adn then when they think i'm pregnant their expressions change to " awww she's pregnant not just fat, how lovely" cracks me up everytime

BPJ - don't worry too much just try to stay healthy. Most Drs set a limit of 10kg weight gain (remember that most babies only wiegh 3-4kg at birth) Mine was horrified that I gained 20kgs! Try as hard as I did the 2nd time around I still gained the 20 :shakehead: I lost it all & more thru breastfeeding. Its just what my body does.
Also at 13 weeks the baby is really too small to make an impact in the way of a belly bump. What you are experiencing is your body preparing - you loose your waist as your sides flatten out. I hated this stage more than any other. I felt so Blah! Take advantage of the current trends for swing tops, smocks and baby doll dresses. They will camoflouge this & give you back some confidence. You can belt them in to retain some shape.

Medusa, I did not know DJs had a teen section?! Is it separate to the 'younger' hip floor that has jigsaw, witchery, zimmerman etc?

PS Ozzy and Medusa, I adore shirt-dresses. I only have one but every time I wear it I get a tonne of compliments. I really want to get another one but have not seen them in stores this summer...has anyone else seen them?

I'm talking the older kids clothes. I can usually fit a kids size 12-14 depending on the item. I am a ladies 8-10 but I am short & flat chested so I can still fit some of the kid's stuff. If you can fit it then check it out as often they are cheaper. Don' forget to check the accessories too. Also if you have a small foot you can scope kids shoes too. (OK OK I know I sound like a total nutter now ) A size 4 kids is the same as a ladies 6.

I'm not always motivated. Mostly I enjoy going for a power walk/run/cross trainer etc. I usually alternate so I don't get bored with one thing.
I have a lot of dvd's that I haven't used for a while, I always start out with good intentions :redcheeks:. It's nice knowing they are there though. Today is really really hot so I can do it on days like this in air con.
