One brand I haven't seen mentioned by any of you girls yet is Ole Henriksen!!! I absolutely love this brand. I decided to give it a go after reading my fellow Tasmanian turned Danish Princess Mary was a huge fan! I am really loving the Ole Henriksen products I have purchased. Was wondering if any of you have tried it?

yeah i have tried it - i am recently converted. i have been using dermalogica stuff for years and felt i needed something with a little more oomph. i am not a huge fan of the scrub i got but the cleanser and moisturisers i got are great. i believe nicole loves a bit of ole in addition to mary

Holly are you talking about the new beginning scrub by Ole Henriksen? I don't like that much either but I love the walnut scrub as I like my scrubs to be quite abraisive!

'abrasive' is good if the granules are completely spherical and therefore won't damage your skin.

If you like that feeling you will love the MD formulations face and body scrub:http://www.adorebeauty.com.au/adorebeauty/viewitem.asp?idproduct=3881

and the alpha H micro cleanse:

they feel fantastic! and have the exfoliating benefits of glycolic acid too!

I like the colourful packaging, and I have tried the Ole products, but my skin needs more active ingrediants/products to keep it under control and break-out free.

Hi Pinkcupcake!

I have used Ole Henriksen products for a couple of months now (I started with the normal/oily skincare kit and built up from there) and really love them, (especially the walnut scrub and face mask) however these products haven't done anything for my breakout areas around my chin and mouth. So I am using up the remainder of my products (I can't bear to waste them considering how much money I spent on them!) and will probably start using Ultrceuticals as they seem to get a good rap on this forum. ;)

I know the Ultraceuticals have a great special on but please check out the starter kits from Alpha H (available from Adore), they sound more suited to your concerns. Do a search on this forum for Alpha H too for more reader feedback. :)

Thanks for your input, I really appreciate it (need all the help I can get with my breakout prone skin  ). Will look into both of these products a bit more.

HI,
Has anyone used the enlighten me pigmentation serum from Ole?
I am wanting to fade some freckles and stubborn sun spots..I'm scared to try Skiceuticals as I have quite sensitive skin, well it's OK most of the time but if I add potent stuff it can get red, blotchy and irritated.

cheers
Nicky.

ps. wonderful forum!!!

Hi Nicky,

feel free to post me in the 'ask allison' section if you need to discuss what your skin has reacted to and so forth if you are interested in the skinceuticals products for pigmentation. They can work well for sure!

xx

David Jones was offloading all their stock at 60% off so I picked up On the Go Cleanser and Fresh Lips. They were okay but I did find it hard to justify their original price.
