Okay, the packaging tells me that this Eye Contour Cream product contains two steps to "fight the signs of aging around the eyes" and works by "Smoothes wrinkles under eye. Instantly lifts on the eye lids". Pro-Retinol A and Latexyl (?) are named on the label. All I really want is a product that will quench my dehydration lines; I have tried several brands (am I allowed to name?) that have done absolutely nothing for my little thirsty lines, which are growing in number, and while in the supermarket, I thought bugger it, as I stopped in the beauty isle and pondered the creams in front of me, I'm trying this one.
To get cream on one's fingy's in an even proportion (as this process involves using both a white and orangey cream, separated in the container), one must press firmly and directly in the centre of the pump. It is not specified anywhere on the packaging whether you are supposed to mix the two creams together before using on eye area, or to use separately; further confused by the fact that each cream is described as step one and step two. I have been mixing them before applying, as it is easier. Does anyone know if this is right? I checked the website, and that was no help either.
From the moment I first applied this eye cream, I noticed a difference; the area around my eyes looked properly hydrated (for the first time in months) I even squinted up my face in front of the mirror, I was so surprised, to test, but of course lines appear when you do that, just not as bad as they had been doing, as I had noticed when I caught myself smiling in the mirror of late, arrgh!!!!
I have now been using the L'oreal Revitalift eye cream for over a week, and I am so glad I bought it. The area under my eyes looks hydrated, clearer and has less dehydration lines. I don't get dark circles or puffy eyes usually, so I can't say whether this product helps with those issues. I also can't comment on the "Instantly lifts around the eyes", because I don't think at the age of 28 that I actually had much to "lift" around the eyes. Not that I have noticed anyway. Will ask the boy if he notices a difference when I apply again, maybe I'm just not seeing it. Will get back to you.
