Went to the hairdresser tonight and told her I wanted to go darker for winter. Expected to get a few chunky chocolatey lowlights... but instead I have chocolate all over!

Is bizarre. Keep thinking I am somebody else every time I catch sight of it in the mirror. Haven't been brunette for about 10 years!

Kate, post your opinion in a day or two once you become accustomed to your new look.
What shade of chocolate brown is your hair? It is always amazing how changing hair colour alters your skin colour requiring a change in makeup shades etc. :p

I was exactly the same Kate everytime i would catch a glimpse of myself in shop windows or just out of the shower. It would take me a few seconds to realise it was me...:redcheeks:

But i did get lots of comments of how it brings out my eyes, makes them look greener which is fne by me but you do totally need to re-think your make-up colurs...more $ to be spent lol.

my boy is so cute the first thing he said when i walked in to the house as a newly brunette he said was 'you looked hot as a blonde but your hotter as a brunette' i was so happy, i think he secretly had a think for dark locks! he he

I've been a brunette for about three month in my life, I always go back to blonde!!

It is a good excuse to buy and try more make-up and clothes...I always feel that brunette does make you feel more sophisticated - and raises you IQ to others ALOT!!! (sad but true...:whipcrack: )
