It was audition time again today. A ‘call back’ audition for a frozen food company (oh joy!). I had to wield a cricket bat to a piece of unsuspecting food to ‘batter it’. All in a days work.
A lot of prep went into my ‘perky girlfriend’ look. My first line of attack (long overdue) was to change my brows. I have very red hair right now. I had grown too used to my long dark locks and had not updated the brows with the hair change (naughty!).
I began with a lightening process, then an application of brown tint, followed by an application of red tint. Voiola! Colour matched brows! (see the picture below there is an after shot and a before)
This process is very soon to be available here at adore so stay tuned.
My hair is looking a little rock and roll these days, not so much ‘perky’. A good shampoo with some Mop Glisten (which keeps the colour in) followed by some Kevin Murphy Anti Gravity and a touch of old fashioned mousse for additional hold. Then a blow-dry and an attack of the curling iron did the trick! Seemingly effortless bouncy hair.
I am in debt to my Heather Pink Clarins lip liner. It is the one thing I can rely on for the perfect natural shade of lips (I fill in the lip area entirely and then apply a touch of gloss).
My other staples for confidence are the Becca Loose Transcucent Powder, Bloom Sheer Colour Cream Blush in Rosie and my Clarins Wonder Volume Mascara!
I don't know what I would do without my air stockings (in natural shade) I use the product mainly on my decolotage for a flawless look when wearing a singlet!
To complete the ‘perky girlfriend look’ I coupled some blue jeans with a black tank top with a red wrap around top (a bit daggy) on top. Some ballet flats finished the look and I was ready to handle that cricket bat with a suitably perky smile.
