Yesterday with my Adore Beauty order I got a couple of samples. One was the Skinceuticals Hydrating B5 Gel. I decided to use it last night. Eventhough I have only used it once I think it is amazing. My skin has never felt so well hydrated by a serum before. Thinking I am definitely going to buy this product.

I have never really used anything from the skinceuticals range before although I have a few samples of different things that I have collected over time. Has anyone else used the range?

Not yet. Have used another B5 gel, they are very hydrating indeed and a great serum. I would like to try the Retinol and the C E Ferrulic in the Skinceuticals range. Still fairly unknown here but massively popular in the US. Allison likes the potency and results of this range too.

Oooh Potency eh! Maybe pinkcupcake should avoid it at all costs:chuckle: !!

Nah! You should be fine, but just follow the instructions! Allison may advise building up to your skin tolerating the ingredients and know that you should use the 0.5% Retinol before "graduating" to the 1%.

Hi All, long time lurker first time poster here ;)

I have been using the SkinCeuticals Simply Clean and Phyto Corrective Gel for about two weeks now - recommended by Allison.

So far I am really impressed with the Simply Clean cleanser. I have always been a great lover of exfoliating (and probably did so far too much) but I am finding that it really isn't necessary, the cleanser seems to be doing the job just as well.

As for the Phyto Gel, well the other day at work I looked in the mirror and realised that my foundation looked really weird. After some thought I realised it was because the gel has evened out all the redness and blemishes and my skin appears much fairer than it used to be so my foundation looked truly awful :D . (new foundation on the wishlist).

Thank you by the way for such entertaining and informative posts. Fantastic!

I have just started to use products from this range. Got a CE Ferlic sample which was great, so now am using cream cleanser, CE Ferulic, retinol 1.0 and B5 Gel. So far I think the products are fantastic! And... you can get them a lot cheaper from America.

I've been considering trying the phyto corrective gel as i think it might be good for my sensitivity. It looks very calming.....
Any recs? Would this assist to balance my skin in between its breakouts, which aren't as frequent these days, but can happen with any product my skin spits the dummy over, and its dry patches. is this even making any sense?? I just re-read this and it sounds very confusing but i don't know how else to explain it!! I'm not myself today... strange!
:chuckle:
Also, my lips are suffering and nothing is keeping them hydrated. Not even my beloved shizen or new found jurlique lip balm... devastating. Anyone tried the skinceuticals lip repair... (its very pricey though!!)?

I've been trialing the SPF 20 moisutriser I got from Melbourne - not sure if it was inteh Goodie Bag or sample swap (sooooooo much swag) and I am not liking it. Too heavy, and not rich enough. Bugger!

Hi TigerEyes, I have been through several bottles of the Phyto Corrective and love it - a great, light gel moisturiser. If your skin is on the dryer side you will need another moisturiser over the top but I wear it underneath my BECCA 30+ or IZ and my skin loves it.
