As mentioned in a previous thread I have ordered the new Bobbi Brown Eye Palette in Chocolate. I only started purchsing Bobbi Brown fairly recently because I always felt a little too intimidated to approach the counter as I didn't have much knowledge of the Bobbi Brown products. It was when my friend started showing me all the fab things she had purchased from Bobbi Brown that my adventure began.

Here Is What I have Tried:

Oil-Free Even Finish Foundation - this is a good coverage foundation. It probably offers a little more coverage than I actually need but it is a nice one that I like to use at night. I got it in warm Ivory.

Vitamin Enriched Face Base - This is an oil free moisturiser specifically designed for under makeup. My cheeks love it but my t-zone still gets a little shiny if I use this.

Creamy Concealer Kit - This has a yellow based cream concealer for dark circles and then a loose powder with little puff for setting. I have it in Porcelain.

Blush - I have two powder blushes from the range in Blushed and Desert Rose. The pigment is quite rich in these so a little goes a long way. They do blend really well.

Powder Eye Shadows - I have shell, nude and heather shades and they are gorgeous! The fact that I loved these so much was what inspired me to buy the chocolate palette. They stay put once applied and have a gorgeous texture that blends beautifully.

I will review my eye palette once I have used it.

Bobbi Brown packaging is gorgeous. I used a BB lip balm in a silver tin a couple of years ago which was quite nice. Used some skincare too but cannot remember much about it. The cosmetics sound gorgeous.

Oh you had to order it did you - that must drive you nuts! Although - I love the ease of ordering things - you don't have to waste time going and parking etc, and you get a lovely surprise when they arrive. I got some Tonni and Daff lingerie sets in the post today and am itching to get home and try them on!

No I actually have some really good friends (shopping elves) that go and shop for me at my request. They go and get my goodies and then express post them down to me!

PCC thanks heaps for reviewing your BB. Look forward to your feedback on the eye palette. Checked it out on the net and the colours look fab, good basics but also very versatile.

I really like the sleek look of the packaging too, kind of reminds me of Laura Mercier's stuff.

this brand has got really lovely pigments.

i have the concealer. ( same as PCC )

i absoltely love the shimmer bricks! this product is soo versatlie. you can use it as an all over aface highlighter, use it as an eyeshadow with all the different colour palettes, and you can use it as a base for your blush just to give your cheeks more of a glow. this really is BB must have product!!:worship:

I've also used these (not sure if there's anything I haven used... )- I remember spending more than I EVER have before on makeup at this counter (bonus from work, so no guilt at the time). I purchased the concealor, three lip glosses, and two eye shadows - one for eyebrows and one for lining, and two brushes - the liner and the eye-brow brush (I like brushes!!!). The reason I spent so much was because of the make-over I got for free, which was A+ if you ask me.

I have only repurchased the lip glosses as they are BRILLIANT, I still have the eye shadows - vlaue for money there! And I never got round to re-purchasing the concealor as found something better!! Have to say that they are top products, I just got put off when I heard they were owned by Estee Lauder (I think), but later heard that GA was owned by L'Oreal and I love that - so no bias here anymore.

Definately worth a try - especially as I like her philosophy. Apparently she also says that EVERY skintone can benefit from a yellow toned foundation(just thought I'd throw that out there).:shockedhair:

I have had a play with my new Bobbi Brown Chocolate eye palette! It is beautiful and I am really happy with my purchase. The shades are gorgeous and blend so well. Think I will well and truely get my moneys worth out of this little palette.

 I've always wanted to check out the BB collection, but unfortunately I dont think that any department stores stock them near me... I really enjoy her make up books and philosophy too, so they sound so tempting!!!

Here's my review of BB's Apricot Shimmer Brick:

I love, love, LOVE the colour. It is so beautiful and wearable. I would have to say you have to be quite careful when using this as it is quite highly pigmented and very shimmery, so if you use too much you can look silly.
If you use the right amount it gives the skin the most amazing glow, it's just perfect for hot summer day and nights!

Best way to go is test it, then go home and see how it looks.

I had this weird ass dream last night about walking along then whackng out a can of Model Can Spray Tan and spraying myself with it in the middle of the street.
