:shockedhair: don't worry, we all have bad hair days!

Mine is without a doubt a ponytail! I either slick it back with a headband then put it up, or I blow dry just my fringe (so at least something looks half decent!) and then put it up.

I straightened my hair yesterday morning for work (rarely go to the trouble) only to have it rain! Helloooo frizz! And so today it's up in a ponytail, with half a can of hairspray trying to defend the frizz... i'll be staying inside at lunchtime today I think.

I just wear a headband. This is great cos if I'm running late I can just wash my hair and put the headband in, or I can have yesterday's hair with it! I have curly hair so it work well like this but it also looks great when I have straightened it.

I blow dry my fringe, seperate my hair into 5 or 6 sections and twist them back and pin them down. It takes about 3 minutes, hides how dirty/frizzy/unhappy my hair is and people always comment on how nice it looks.
It's great if you have unamanageable curly hair (like me) because the curls add extra character as opposed to just looking unruly like they would in a ponytail.

Definately a pony tail !!! I'll blow dry my fringe and then just pull it up and away i go. If its a really bad hair day a nice wide hand band with a bit of teasing on my crown and off i go. I thick heavy hair so it takes well to teasing.

i usually just pin my fringe back in a quiff if im running really late, if i have time i will curl the lengths with my straightener (much faster than tongs) which hides the kinks.

Hi nattieb :waving:

Im a bit like you as in blowdrying my fringe and putting it back into a ponytail. But today, because of the rain, I have these frizzy bits that stick out all around my hairline ( I have my fringe pulled back and pinned in a mini quiff and my hair in a pony) I to put the half a can of hairspray on this morning :chuckle: I can understand completly about straighting your hair and then to have it rain. The same thing happend to me yesterday too ! Not happy ...

Definitely a pony tail. In fact I think I may have an unhealthy dependence on my pony tail as people don't recognise me when my hair is out!

I like the ponytail too, but lately I have enjoying separating the front near my forehead, and twisting it a little bit, pinning it at the back, then put my hair up in a ponytail. It's easy, different and girly.

Ponytail for me too, but definitely with a good bit of teasing at the crown and sideswept fringe. I'm into the low, side pony at the moment.

Other failsafe 'do is tease at the crown, twist into a messy chignon with a clip and add a scarf or wide headband to hold the fringe back. Good one for work.

If I start the blowdry and then get fed up (which happens often) I scrunch with a bit of sea salt spray and hair seems to behave. Works best in damp weather though i.e. when it's about to rain.

When my hair is dirty or naughty I always slick it back into either a low or high ponytail then twist it around on itself & tuck the end into the hairband. Looks like a bun. I can do this in about 2 min, a throback from my dancing days.
If I want to jazz it up a bit I'll stick a flower pin into it or one of those new double elastic headbands.

My never fail hairstyle is a ponytail too, or a bun with the hair wrapped around the pony and stuck under the elastic, if I have a bit more time/patience with it and am not already running really late then I'll blow dry or straighten the fringe - put a bit of product in it for a more glam look...

Mine is a loose bun with a side part at the front. Pretty much the only style i do lately since im too lazy to do anything else!

Goodness, am I the only one who doesnt have bad hair days?

Can be a bit frustrating when it's raining but I wear my hair up daily in a ponytail. Like Pcc, people dont recognise me when my hair is out!

My bad hair days are usually when it's really humid, foggy, or (the worst!!) drizzling.

On these days I usually just scrunch some Kusco-Murphy Lavender Creme or Kevin Murphy Easy Rider into it and hope it does something approaching "wavy".

Worst case scenario (and failsafe gym hairdo), I just twist it up into a low bun.

Sounds like ponytail is the hands down winner then! :worship:

I normally wear it in a ponytail to work or in a bun (either just wrap it into a knot then put in an Ibis clip or tie it with a band).. but two times this week it's been a bit cooler (with the rain) so I've worn my hair out.. and everyone at work is like 'Oh do you have a hot date Nat?'

Umm no.. but just makes me think maybe I should start making more of an effort - but it's work! :redcheeks:

I cannot keep up with the posts anymore:question: Too many threads, too little time!

I have bad hair days when it is humid and rainy. I have used so many products over the years and nothing, seriously nothing works on my hair! It has a mind of its own.One week it sits absolutely beautiful, the next week it can be a disaster.
Cannot wear a ponytail because it does not suit me. Cannot put it up because there is no hairclips strong enough to hold it up.
Ah well never mind, just have to put up with it.

That's why I feel the need to jump on whenever possible - too many posts to catch up on otherwise! I had a giggle the other night, the posts were coming left, right and centre!

i love accessories for my hair!! just a headband, clip or a really nice hair tie adds glamour to ordinary hair! but my all time favourite is just side parted and tied into a low ponytail. That look always looks stylish.

My never fail is a messy bun or pony tail and if i'm not in the mood for blowdrying my fringe i'll pin it back or wear a headband.

I can not do the ponytail!! I can't believe everyone said that. Ponytails look terrible on me. I just wear my hair out for never fail, or a messy bun or something.
