Does anyone have a favourite soap that they use? I just love my soaps! My favourites are from Lush (which I adore). I especially love lush rock star, i should coco, honey I washed the kids and Miranda. At the moment I am using Hypnotic Poison soap by Christian Dior which smells gorgeous!

I am hopeless with soaps, I buy them and put them in the shower, then they just sit there till they turn to mush and I have to scrape them out of the soap dish :( I guess I am more of a shower gel girl!

I use soaps followed by a shower gel! Just making sure I am extra clean lol!:p
I have to admit that I used to collect soaps as a kid.. and I literally had hundreds!!! I think I overdosed on soaps.. and now I'm def more of a shower gel gal too...

Not a big fan of soaps. Especially after my waxing lady told me they clog pores and contribute to ingrown hairs. I now only use Sodium Laureth Sulphate-free body washes (speaking of which I bought the Napoleon French Lemon SLS-free body wash and lotion pack - from Adore - and I really like it, all the girls in the office were asking what smelled so nice when I moisturised my legs with the lotion last week!

I always stock up on natural handmade soaps from the markets in delicious scents. I would love to make my own. I made a batch once but never seem to have time to do another.
I also love Pure Fiji's shower gels.

When I went to the St Kilda Market about 6 eeks ago I purchased beautiful hand made soaps. A lady has a stall there. They are just gorgeous. She has a website I will look for her card and report back!

Can I revive this thread? I'm always torn between shower gel and soap. I think I like them both equally. I have heaps of Lush soaps too PCC, and my only complaint is that they disappear too fast! My faves are Honey I Washed the Kids and Gratituous Violets. GV smells like a garden and man, is it purple! Other soaps I love are by Claus Porto, particularly the Honeysuckle one. Packaging is gorgeous too. Very ye olde worlde!
Good lord, look how many exclaimation marks I just used. I really do love soap, don't I :hearts:

I love my soap and shower gels equally and use both every day in the shower.
I love my Lush products. I get an order from Lush at least monthly. I can't help myself as their products smell out of this world!!
Shower gels are great as they lather up so well.

Phwoar, Philosophy, how could I forget to include it?? Their shower gels are amazing and I reckon really good value for the huge bottle you get. I'm using Blackberry too and previously had S T R A W B E R R Y (stupid technology) Milkshake. I tried it as a shampoo (as it suggests on the bottle) but left hair pretty dry. So sticking to using it for skin only! Next on the list is the Coconut one.
PCC good thinking re: I Should Coco but how on earth did you get 15kg out of the store??? Do you have Madonna muscles? :chuckle:

That's why they have mailorder my dear! Lol!! all cut up in 100gm Pieces and sent by post hardly cost anything!
I wouldn't advise anyone to use the Philosophy shower gels regularly as a shampoo, I think they are more for one off type occasions like after swimming etc. They make great bubblebaths though!

I also use some and shower gel equally because i love the lather of the gel but i find you get that strong clean soap smell from them. I love the smell of soap because it seems to linger.
I'm lucky enough that there is a home made soap shop only 1hr away, its called Amazing soaps and a couple of local women created it and make the soaps. The soaps are all make like you make a tart or cake. They have lemon merignue soap and it smells like it and looks like one too. Chocolate cake soap etc, they look absolutely amazing in a clean bowl with all the different varieties. They are a wonderful invention and they look so special. They have Franginpani, Mango, mint everythign you can think off. There is a chocolate one that smells like chicos.
They are almost to good to use,
