I know quite a few of you girls ordered Beauty & the bees products when I mentioned that I had bought some. How are you all finding them? Please let us know what you think.

Here's what I have tried so far:

Honey & Coconut Marigold Cream Cleanser: I am totally addicted to the Honey & Coconut Merigold Cream Cleanser. Going through the 120ml pots like nobodies business. I find it so soothing and my skin generally drinks it up. When I wipe off with my face cloth my skin feels amazing. It's been especially good since I haven't been feeling well as I am finding I don't need to moisturise after it.

Rosehip-C Ultra Rich Eye Oil - This is quite oily and recommended to be used at night. My delicate under eye area just loves this stuff and seems to absorbe it pretty well. I also have lost any signs of dehydration lines since using this stuff.

Honey & Coconut Protective Moisture Cream: I only use this on my cheeks as my t-zone is slightly oily. It leaves my skin feeling super soft and hydrated.

White Clay Face Mask - This mask is really good. It is deep cleansing, detoxifying and surprisingly very moisturising. It comes in a large jar and is a white powder which you mix with water to make a paste. I love it!

Please Note: Beauty & the bees products are all made fresh so they don't have a long life span. Some things are required to be used within 3 months and there are others that last 12 months (e.g Masks).

I just love my Beauty & the bees bits. It is very inexpensive compared to some of the big brands. I think they keep their skincare pretty simple. I will be interested to hear what others think.

They are a lovely range of products. I bought the cleanser with honey and rose geranium which I love, gave the honey and rose geranium moisturiser to my mum (havent heard back yet), the marigold lip balm, and the rosehip eye oil (have only used this one a couple of times - massive bottle!). Should dig it out for my sorry dehydration lines under my eyes. Promise to do as soon as rash and allergy clears up, will let you know how I find it!

I have just finished the Eye Oil. It was great for such an inexpensive item. :clapping: I would also massage it into my neck or use all over as a serum occasionally.

I have just got the Cream Cleanser in Orange & Patchouli. It felt a little greasy at first but you're right after removing it with a face washer my skin felt really soft, not greasy at all. I can smell the honey in it. I use this one at night if I need to wash my face at the basin.

I also go the moisturiser but haven't opened it yet. Keeping it in the fridge for now. I think I might like to try the Honey & Olive Hand Proctective Cream next, not just as a hand cream but as a barrier cream for when I am applying my fake tan or to use before gardening etc.

Medusa I can't believe you have used up the eye oil already!! What a good idea to put a bit on your neck. I must try this. Wow you use your products fast girl! This is fantastic considering they don't last terribly long, it ensures that you aren't wasting any of the product. Thanks for the other site listing as well!

Oh well I actually bought it a year ago I think? As you know you only need a tiny smidge of it. With a high quality product like that at such a great price, you can afford to be generous.

I have been using the Beauty and Bees products for 2 weeks now and I am impressed.
I use the Honey Coconut Marigold Cream Cleanser. At first I found it hard to go on,it is so different from all the other cleansers I have used, but now I really like it.It does make my skin silky soft.

I use the Ultra Rich Eyeoil at night and I love it.It is my favourite so far.

I use the Honey,Macademia moisturizer. I have not quite made up my mind about it.It seems very thick, but on the other hand my skin feels very moisturized and it stays like that all day. It does not seem to be terrible good under foundation though. But I will continue using it in order to make up my mind completely.
And I would not mind trying out more of their stuff.

It is certainly well priced, I bought mine from soapkitchen and I got 15% off the normal price.
I got the small sizes to try and I keep them in the fridge, just in case.

Have to thank you PCC for recommending the products, otherwise I would probably never come across them. Thanks.:clapping: :waving: :kissing:

Funny you should say that, Melbournegirl, about the moisturiser not going well with foundation. It does seem to take a bit to absorbe and kind of sits on th skins surface for a while. I wouldn't use it under foundation either. I only use it on days or at night when I don't where make-up!

Thats exactly what it does to me pcc, it sits on the skin surface. I will not use it under foundation anymore I think. But as a moisturiser I really like it.

Perhaps use it a night time melbournegirl, the texture and properties would indicate that this would be a better night treatment anyway.

I love the cream cleanser, although I used the whole jare in about two weeks! Skin felt great though. Not so keen on the moisturiser - I got the light one and only use it at night - but wouldn't repurchase. Same with the toner, I got the rosewater one and it absolutely REEKS of pollen - the smell makes me nauseous! Whereas I adore the Jurlique rosewater spray. Weird. The rosehip eye oil I use every night - I love this product. My skin soaks it up! So - in summation - I would repurchase the eye oil and the cream cleanser but not the toner or moisturiser!

I fianlly used my Beauty & the bees white clay mask last week. It comes in a powder form and you have to mix it into a paste before applying. On the lable it said to either add water or rose water. I decided to use rose water (just to be different) and to be really clever I added a couple of drops of rosehip oil!

I found it a bit time consuming mixing up the powder etc (I like to be able to just put it on out of the tube) and the mask set very very hard on my face. I felt if I smiled my face would crack open. However after washing the mask off my skin felt very clean and soft. The mask also has moisturising properties.

Those masks with the dry clay base do tend to set like this, can be a bit uncomfortable eh?! For easier mixing, use a soft bristle paint brush to mix and apply xo

Naughty BPJ just ordered the cream cleanser, rose water mist and scrub from Beauty and the Bees (still have a moisturiser from the sample pack I ordered a couple of months ago in the fridge, so did not reorder). I just love these products, they clean and nourish my skin so well without stripping it bare and making me breakout. Can't wait to smell that rosewater again, I have had cravings for that scent :redcheeks: .

I also love the cream cleanser (with marigold) - great for removing makeup and I find the smell and feel of the product very comforting. I use it at night along with a riffi facial mit to remove the day's make up and Melbourne grime...my skin just seems to go 'aaah' and drink up the moisture when I use it. I have quite oily/problematic skin but have not had any issues with breakouts - perhaps this because of the marigold?

I purschased it after reading PCC's recommendation - it's one cleanser I will repurchase again and again, so thanks PCC!

Forgot to say, I order the cream cleanser in the big 120ml jar now. I don't bother with the small one because I am very very generous with my application.

My friend had a baby recently and I got her a heap of Beauty & The Bees baby products.

I am loving the Rosehip-C ultra rich eye care oil that PCC got for me - it's wonderful. But definitely a night-time only thing.

its lovely hey? Quite oily though so works well for nighttime. I have spread some on my neck before when it has felt a bit on the dry side...

I have used many of the Beauty and the Bees products -- and I love them! They make my skin so velvety-soft, and smell naturally gorgeous! I have tried:

1. Leatherwood honey and coconut cream cleanser - this is a gorgeous creamy cleanser that just melts into your skin. It needs a washcloth to remove it properly (I just use a microfibre face washer I picked up at Woolworths!) but leaves your skin beautifuly soft and clean. I do not wear much makeup typically (only on special occasions) so I can't comment on its ability to remove make-up...

2. Flowerpetal toning mist - a simple, hydrating toning mist that you press into your skin after cleansing and before applying moisturiser. I have tried both the Rosewater and Aqua Flora varieties -- I like the fragrance of the Rosewater best! It is addictive!

3. Leatherwood Honey and Coconut Facial Moisture Cream - I LOVE this cream. Admittedly it is quite rich and is best used at night since it takes a while to absorb (not great under makeup for example). But as a night cream it is SO wonderful -- you will wake up with smooth velvety skin! A little goes a long way. I have used the Marigold (unscented) and Rose Geranium varieties (I prefer the Marigold).

4. Seaweed, Honey and Herb Polishing Scrub - This will not be to everyone's tastes since it can get a little messy -- you add warm water to the powdered scrub and mix it into a paste to apply. It can be hard to get the amounts right (ie it is either too runny or too thick) but it works quite well and leaves your skin super-smooth. I also like to mix it up with a few drops of Rosehip oil and apply it like a mask in the bath. Can be a bit messy to remove.

5. Rosehip-C Ultra Rich Eye Care Oil - A great, inexpensive product that has multiple uses. I actually find it a bit rich around my eyes (for me it does not seem to absorb well), but I like to apply it all over my face and neck if they are feeling dry, or it can even be rubbed into your lips at bedtime. I also use it to mix up the Seaweed scrub when I use it as a mask. Can also be used on hands/cuticles.

6. Natural soap shampoo bars (with the Apple Cider and Herb conditioning rinse) - I have used the Rosemary and Mint and the Tasmanian Beer varieties of shampoo bars and was very pleasantly surprised! It does take a little getting used to and you must ensure to rinse thoroughly, but the Beer variety in particular got rid of slight flakiness/dandruff on my scalp! These bars lather up well and last for AGES -- great also for traveling when you don't want to worry about big shampoo bottles and leaking products. I did not repurchase the conditioning rinse as it seems to be mostly apple cider vinegar (and you dilute it a lot anyway) -- so I replaced it with apple cider vinegar from the supermarket when I ran out.

A good way to get started with these products is with the "Tast of Honey" Kits that are available, each with several small pots of products to try. The great thing is that you can reuse the small pots afterwards -- I fill the small pots with creams from the big jars, and use the products out of the small pots. This reduces the number of times the 'stock' jar is opened and leaves the products fresher for longer!
