Ok so I have a question...

Cleansers etc ALWAYS say 'rinse with warm water'. How important is it to do that? I know it is bad to use hot water but I often use cold to cool water - we are on water restrictions after all and I don't want to waste water while waiting for it to warm up! Is it bad or even better than warm water to rinse with cold to cool water???

I think products just specify WARM water as opposed to HOT water.
It never ceases to amaze me the amount of people I see who put their faces UNDER HOT WATER in the shower and then complain of surface capillaries on their cheeks :explode:  Hot water cause the capillaries on the face to suddlenly flush wth blood and after continually doing this they stay stretched :shakehead:

I dont see any harm in rinsing with cool or cold water. I love to do it in the morning!! Really helps to wake me up, and also on these hot days nothing feels better than a cool splash of water after a hot day at work

Celestefay i dont think you have any thing to worry about :clapping: :strawberry:

Depends on the cleanser you are using. I agree, it's such a waste waiting for water to heat up. If I need to I walk to the laundry room as the water heats up there really quickly, that's where I remove my masks!

If it is an oil based cleanser you could try tissueing off then using a toner otherwise warm water is better to "dissolve" the cleanser and any residue.

I personally like cold water in the morning, wakes me up!:redcheeks:

I always use cold water, I love it (except maybe in winter when it's freezing). It really refreshes me. I even shower in very cool water!

Celestefay,
I have it in my mind that warm water holds pores open and cold water seals them. :p
