Caffeine addict,
In response to your question in another thread asking for a review of the Ole Henriksen Vitamin Plus Balancing Cream here is my review.
I have been using the Ole Henriksen Vitamin Plus balancing cream for the pasy year or so. I use it on my slightly oily t-zone and use another more moisturising Ole Henriksen cream on my slightly drY cheeks.
The Vitamin Plus Balancing Cream is beautiful. It hydrates as well as mattifies. It's especially good for helping keep shine away and my skin drinks it up like nobodys business. I think it is very soothing on the skin and it really feels as if it is moisturising but there's no greasy residue or shine. I noticed a marked improvement in my skin when I started using this cream.
I have nearly the entire Ole Henriksen range so if there is anything else you would like to know about just ask. Ole Henriksen also happens to be used by Princess Mary (probably because it's Danish) Hope this helps.

Sorry... I hadn't found this part before. :redcheeks:
Thankyou so much! Sounds perfect.
Edit:
Out of interest, which other moisturiser do you use? Do you find it too rich for the T zone?

Hi there CA, I too have used this moisturiser, and I really loved it. It hydrated my skin well, and was usually good on my oily t-zone, I found that some days it was too heavy for my t-zone, so I just alternated it with the Sheer Transformation cream (also by Ole Henriksen). It really is a beautiful moisturiser though, my skin took on such a healthy glow after I had used for just a little while.

Is this range designed for oily/comb skins? I tried a sample of a night time gel and it was awful! Thought maybe the range was just not designed for me (normal skin).

I used the night gel for a while Luisa, for my combination skin, and it was pretty good for me oily t-zone. It was probably not best for your skin type, alone, the suggestion is to use the Sheer Transformation Cream over the top of it if you need more moisture. Was it too dry on your skin?

Hi BPJ, yes definitely too drying for my skin and it stung. I dont have sensitive skin and regularly use a 15% AHA. Not sure I would try any of their range.

I don't blame you for not wanting to try other OH products after a less than positive experience Luisa, all I can say is that he does have some really lovely products such as the walnut scrub, the Vitamin plus balancing cream, his cleansers and I really liked one of his masks (the clay one), maybe if they come up as samples on the Adore site you get them with your order to try?

Thankd BPJ, I do have high expectations eh? Now that I am getting older I prefer products with dependable and active ingredients. May give the cleanser or mask a go down the track but I think I have had my experience with their other facial products!

Nothing wrong with having high expectations my dear! I completely understand wanting dependable products, if I had tried a brand and had a similiar bad experience I'd be put off for life and I don't think anyone could talk me around, talk about stubborn! lol!

Has anyone tried the new Express the Truth Moisuriser in this range? If so I would love a review of how they have found it:) .

I used my sample of Visual Truth Eye Cream (with African Red Tea and Vit C) last night and this morning, and I really like it. Its a bit thicker than what I'm used to but I quite like it being thick, keeps my eye area more moisturised for longer.

I really love this eye cream Jaime, it has gotten rid of all me pesky dehydration lines. Banished forever! Well, hopefully.

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but how is everyone finding the Ole Henriksen range? I'm thinking of starting to use it as it seems to have fantastic reviews.

Hey PPC,
I just started using the sport remover one by him, it's great. Already can see the effects, though a bit hard to get out of the bottle. What else is good to use? I get an oily t-zone these days so what do you think would help that?

I am going to dig out my Ole Henriksen Collection. This is one of my favourite brands ever and my skin absolutely adores this range. With so many other products on the go I had forgotten about my Ole stuff until Kate brought it up in another thread.
Last night I started using Express The Truth (wrinkle resistance creme with African Red Tea and Vitamin C). It is suitable for all skin types. At this point all I can say is that my skin loves it. It absorbed very easily and left no greasy residue at all (even on my oily t-zone).
I am also really wanting to try the new Ole Henriksen Blackberry Face Oil.

I am a big fan of Ole too PCC, I really love his products. I have tried samples of the moisturiser you mentioned and it felt so good on my skin, plus I really loved the smell of it. Is the Blackberry Face Oil similar to the Blackcurrant Complexion Oil?

Aaaah, well in that case, :chuckle:, I love this product too (talk about a love fest today!!!). I use it at night instead of my usual moisturiser for a bit of extra moisture and love and care for my skin. I swear it looks more hydrated and a bit healthier the next morning.

I have been using samples of Ole of late and I am liking the range more and more.
Ultimate Lift Eye Gel is of a thick gel consistency and really seems to feel moist around the eyes for ages
Pure Perfection Night Creme feels lovely, not too greasy at all - a great night time cream

Oooh so good to hear! I want to get this so badly but have more serums etc than I can use. But if I could use it as a night time moisturiser....

Does anyone have any recommendations for any of Ole's moistursiers for combo/oily skin? I have tried a sample of the Sheer Transformation Cream and it was ok but i wouldn't rush out and buy it, but i'd like to try something. From reading back on this thread PCC you seem to have used some of the range so would you recommend any of the moisturisers for oilier skin types?
