Going to have to check that out. Do you know if a company "makes" it for them or is it their own formulations. I am curious as to who has had a hand in it!

Luisa i have no idea all i saw was "skincare" and shiny sleek bottles and i was sucked in. I can't buy any of the moisturiser or cleanser but they have heaps of other stuff. I'd be interested also in who makes it Mac or another company for MAc.

The M.A.C skincare has been around for a long time. It isn't widely advertised but I have heard good things about it. A few celebs use it. Has anyone used M.A.C Strobe cream?

PCC, i was interested in the Strobe cream as well. It doesn't tell you how you use it eg. morning or like the Beauty Flash Balm i'm just curious as well.

The M.A.C Skincare range has been around for a while. It's just got new packaging and a few new products. The new packaging is awesome.

Hullo there Luscious Ladies!! :waving:
So here's the down low on the MAC skin care range!! :yelling:

MAC have had a skin care range for donkey years (since back in the days when I was on my clinique training wheels...ahhh the memories!!).
It was designed to arm make-up artists with half decent skincare to remove their cult make up ranges and its was such a hit it went retail.
I havent been able to source the people responsible for the range but MAC is a make-up range FIRST right. Even if they "made it themselves" I have no doubt that they would have had some help :)

In an age where all that glittlers sells MAC have repackaged their tired old black and white bottles to the new sleek and sexy metallic-esque look A vast improvement if you ask me.

Correct me if I'm wrong but after checking out the MAC site dont you just want to wipe your bathrom benches clean and arrange these hypnotic bottles for all to see!!

Princess precious and pink cupcake the Strobe Cream is a very close cousin to one of all our favourites the Beauty Flash Balm (ALL HAIL!!)

Whilst I would never be as daring as to recommended it above BFB it does come pretty close.

Press a little bit over the top of your favourite moisturiser ( and susceen too if you have one separate from your moisturiser) for that all day/night stunning matt glow! The botanicals give a great boost to the skin too!

Strobe Cream also makes a great make up primer, but remember less is more!! This is and extra layer of product ladies and an over excited hand can easily result in a distractingly shiny sheen  eeek!!

Addict Tip: I love a little (too much will give you the puffies) of this luscious cream around my eyes at night as my eye cream or over the top. They just sparkle in the morning!! :clapping:

Thanks Luscia! Much love back at you!

NEWS FLASH!! I have the goss on the birth of MAC and the development of their skincare lines for you as well. MAC which stands or Makeup Artist Cosmetics (useless fact of the day) was started in 1985 in Canada. The founder was a makeupartist/photographer and his friend the business man. In 1997 the business man died and the company was bought out by the Estee Lauder Empire. Shortly after the MAC line of skin care was born. The Estee Lauder Group is one of the biggest skincare suppliers in the industry and is responsible for brands such as clinique, bobby brown, prescriptives, origins and of course estee lauder. Just in case you were wondering. :encore: Peace and happy skin to you!

Thanks Lusia, for the warm welcome!!

In response to your previous queston about who makes MAC skincare (which stands for Makeup Artist Cosmetics)
In 1997 after the death of one of the founding business partners of MAC, the Estee Lauder group (one of the largest cosmetic suppliers in the industry) took over operations. Shortly after this the MAC skincare range was born. I always seem to find similarities in all their brnads particularly the colours used in their marketing and products etc. I think we can all agree that MAC is ust a little bit wilder that good ol Estee Lauder tho.
MAC is considered to be one of their 'boutique' brands. The Estee Lauder group are responsible for such products as Clinique, Bobby Brown, Prescriptives,Origins and many more. Just in case you were wondering :D
Hope that's some help :encore:

Thanks for that! Still very curious as to has had a hand in the development of their skin care so keep your ear to the ground! Silly Estee Lauder for selling Stilla recently though - what were they thinking?
