I saw this in DJs today- has anybody tried it?
It seems particularly good as it does not contain talc, but zinc and titanium dioxide. I thought the zinc might mean it is good at keeping away the oilies...
If you have tried this, please tell me about it!

Adore has these online and at the store. I really want to try them. Kate and Sarah have used these. They do contain titanium dioxide but also zinc oxide and mica which are reflectants so a very good skin friendly foundation. They don't list an SPF but Kate said that they would've had to apply to the TGA for this and may have chosen not to do so. Of course you can wear a sunscreen underneath and apparently these go on better if you have a primer on. They also make a bronzer in the range.

I ordered this one from Adore, and tried it for the first time this week. On the first day I applied it with the applicator provided, and thought it looked a little cakey, so the next couple of times I used a proper powder brush and it was not cakey at all. I really love this product, it has a great coverage, with out looking like I have a lot on, and really takes away the redness from any pimpleys I have. I also found, much to my joy, that I didn't have to blot my oily zones anywhere near the times I have to with other foundations, during the day. A blessed relief I can tell you! Will definately buy this again and again.

I agree- I recently bought this and the first time I used it with the flat applicator provided and was so dissapointed! it did look cakey, and ultra pale and made me look washed out. But with a soft brush it looks very lovely. I picked the beige (second lightest shade) after advice from Kate and this is perhaps slightly too pale for me- but it could be because it is summer and my skin does not tan but does look a little brighter/warmer during these months. So I would reccomend that anyone thinking of buying goes a shade or two darker than they usually would.
good to hear you two girls liked the foundation... :D

I bought this foundation from David Jones yesterday. I have to say I'm very pleased with it. It gives very light but even coverage which makes it look like I am not wearing founation at all (just that I have nicer skin :P). It covers blemishes beautifully! I didn't need to use a seperate concealer like I usually do, I used an eyeshadow brush to use dots of the foundation as concealer over red bits and it was fantastic. I'm keen to see how well it lasts during the day.

I went into DJs today & had a play with the U/C foundation to choose a colour... tan seems to suit me best.
This is now on my wish list :)
It looks like a great product as my skin is comination & I'm continually blotting my t-zone.
Going by all you adoreables that are using it & loving it, I'm definately keen to try it also. :fish:

Great idea to use your eye shadow brush for pimples and red areas Toastie! I tried this yesterday, and it worked much better than me powder brush, thanks for the tip!

I bought this today in Beige and am in love with it. Got the free brush and it provides great coverage, but easy to tailor for light or something more substantial. Great texture and my skin feels so soft and somehow "clean" - like I'm not wearing makeup. I find it really difficult to find a foundation that suits my combo skin and this seems to be just the right fit. SA was fantastic too, went through all the ingredients and spent a lot of time with me. Gave me a fantastic GWP too, yay!

Hi
I've been using the Ultraceuticals mineral makeup for the past few months and also love the coverage and ease of application, however it makes my skin feel really dry.
I use the Ultraceuticals skin care (Eventone and Vit A and ultra hydrating in the PM) and in the morning under the mineral makeup I use the Vit C sheer, Ultra moisturiser as well as the ultra hydrating gel plus Clarins Instant smooth as a primer) and still my skin feels SO dry during the day.
I have combination skin (oily T) with dry parts.
Has anyone else had this experience ir any suggestions to counteract?
Thank you :waving:
