If you pluck your own eyebrows then you just have to go out & get the new Illuminated Tweezer by La-Tweeze, its fabulous. :worship:
It's a pair of tweezers with a built in light that shines directly onto the area you are tweezing, so you can see every hair. Even those hard to spot odd hairs on the chin - begone you horrid things! It comes in it's own mirrored compact, perfect for travel. I got mine in the chemist for $19.95 and I'm going back to stock up for all my girlfriend's birthdays.
check it out www.latweeze.com.au

They are so fab that a girlfriend came over on the weekend & nicked mine! She couldn't stop using them & inadvertantly took them home.
Will quickly become a cult product. I can't believe someone hasn't thought of it before.

What's the quality of the actual tweezers Medusa? I use a very sharp, Tweezerman style pair for its ease of use and the fact that you can get even the finest hairs.

The tweezers are very sharp. Even with the light in the middle of them, they are still easy to use. Well balenced.
I could never really justify the price of the Tweezerman ones so I can't compare.

Notice I said Tweezerman styled?!! Mine are a discontinued one from Manicare (original silver precision if you can ever find them) Leave the coloured ones alone, the are hopeless!

Yeah, I have the manicare gold tipped ones and have been using them for over 8 years now.... never really thought of getting another type as these are sooo good, will check the La Tweeze ones out for my sister as she has difficulty getting all the hairs (she is dark haired while I am fairer eyebrows).

I used to use the gold tipped ones for years, they were very good but if you do spot a pair of the old packaged Manicare prescion ones (silver coloured), pick them up and dont lose them!

I got sent a sample of these, the light is great but I don't find the tweezers to be as precise as my beloved Tweezermans... once you've had Tweezerman you can never go back :worship:

The tweezers are ok but not amazing... but my light died after only a couple of months! These are a great idea though. Great gift too.
