Hello all,

This question is for Kate or anybody else who may know-

You mentioned in a previous thread (I cannot remember where!) that Megal Gale is releasing a paler version of her tinted Invisible zinc, early 2007.

Do know when this might be? Or how I might find out? I love the tinted one but it is too dark for my light skin. I am so excited at the prospect of a paler version!

Thank you :santa:

So am I!!

Even with my light olive skin tone, the current shade is too dark. Adore, can you tell us when this will be online or instore?

I knooooooooooooow! It's not me - the manufacturers are dragging their heels on releasing it as they just brought out "Junior" and wanted to stagger the product launches

I'll email them to try and get an update.

Sounds good to me too, I never tried her other one, but I bought the invisable zinc a couple of years ago and loved it, and just didnt get around to buying another one...

A question though - for every day use - could you put another foundation over the tinted version?????

Kate (Staff)

Yes you can put a foundation over the top, for sure.

Just read your post earlier Kate about the water proof invisable zinc. Sound awesome! Is that the same as the tinted versions?? or a different product?? Will we need to pre order this lighter colour coz it sounds like its going to be uber successful!! or first in best dressed?? :glee: :yellow: :clapping:

Ok, so a really daft question...................

Does this stay on your face? I have tried tinted mositurisers and they rub off on clothes. I don't want that, I wear white to work (it's the rules) and don't want my collar changing colour.

I love the standard Invisible Zinc, but have often looked at the tinted one, but that fear has stayed with me.

I have been told that the lighter colour is being released this week!! Fingers and toes crossed!

Its not a silly question, I think its quite vaild.

I apply the tinted version as I would foundation, so I don't cover my neck, decllotage with it. I blend it at my jawline then use an untinted SPF for the other areas. I notice the colour on the tissue when I wipe my nose, so I would say yes it may get on your white tops. Try my technique, it really is a great product.

Ok, so I will get some and give that a try, I have the standard Invisible Zinc, I'll just use that on neck/decolletage.

Thanks for the info Medusa:worship:

I have been waiting for this moment (well it is almost the moment) for so long! I have run out of my normal Clinique sunscreen and have avoided repurchasing in anticipation of MG Pale, so I have been using instead the MG darker version which was always a little too gold on my fair skin but I have since dyed my blonde hair so it is a cooler beige blonde and now the golden MG looks silly on my complexion…Kate you must tell us the very second it arrives! (ps I hope you ordered a lot- there seems to be quite a bit of excitement among the Adoreables!)

The colour is a perfect fair-to-light neutral, and they've improved the texture too - it's more liquidy and easy to apply.
Wooooooooooohooooooooooo!

Hooray! :yellow:
I purchased the original colour on Ebay the other week, but it was much too dark for my skin so I ended up passing it onto a friend. I'll definitely be putting in an order for the new light colour!

Please do Sapphire!

I've been using mine for a few days and I'm really happy with it. My skin is combo/oily too and I haven't had any problems. It would be fine by itself in summer but I've been using a smidge of mineral foundation in the t-zone for a bit of extra coverage and to combat shine.

Ok - day 1 with iz pale tinted. Almost squirted out half the tube because it was so runny compared to my old tube of iz- oops! However, it spreads on beautifully and keeps my oily skin shine free for longer compared to other sunscreens/moisturizers. Gotta love that healing, mattifying zinc!

I was a little disappointed that the colour is so sheer. I did have the original tinted and the pigment seems much stronger- not just darker. But too dark and gold for me, alas.

I wore my new pale zinc the way I wore my other - apply it then brush on Jurlique silk dust afterwards to mop up any residual shine. I'm thinking now that I may need a tinted powder instead of the Jurlique now, as there is not as much coverage, colour-wise with the new one as with the old. All up, I am still very happy with my new iz. For those of you who lamented the original thick consistency, you should try it again, although it is still thicker than some. It does sink into the skin very quickly though, and you should warm it up by rubbing it in your hands before applying to face. xo

I'm with you Sapphire, I don't think it's as pigmented as the original either (and I wish it was). I might email the manufacturers and see if they can go a bit more pigmented with their next run ;)

I knew it was not my imagination! Perhaps we all should email them - the more comments, the more likely they will act!

I was so happy to buy the pale shade because it matched my skin perfectly, but unfortunately I can't use the tinted zinc - it makes me skin break out terribly :( I'm stuck with using the untinted one which tends to whiten my face a bit - but I'd rather look white then have wrinkles and cancer!

Well I got me a little tube of the IZ tinted light shade (i was a little thrown as its said for medium to tan skins and im a white whitey but its great!! Alot more sheer than i had anticipated. I had thought from the sounds of people struggeling to squeeze theirs out some times. I definietly need a powder over the top as its a bit too shine-a-riffic for me.
