Hi Allison,

I just read your article on Acne and started to freak out a little. You see I have been using proactiv on and off for about two years now and am really worried I have caused damage in the form of premature aging to my skin. Should I stop using this product immediately? If so could you recommend a simple skin care routine for me. I don't have acne as such but I do suffer from hormonal breakouts around my chin. I also have blackheads on my nose and chin and have VERY oily skin...although I have heard that this is probably a result of the proactiv as the skin is trying to compensate for the oils proactiv as striped.

I was thinking of purchasing Ultraceuticals Gentle Cleansing Gel. If so do I need to use a toner as well?

Other than this I already use sunscreen and have an eyecream so perhaps just a moisturiser that could be used day and night if you have any recommendations? I've looked at the ones linked to your article but they are a little expensive for my budget at the moment.

Thank you so much in advance Allison.

Take care :waving::hugs:

Hi again. Sorry I don't mean to be pesky :whistle:I just thought of a couple more things in the mean time. Firstly, do I need to have something to take my make up of at night other than the ultraceuticals cleanser? Atm I am just using the proactiv cleanser to take my make up of which I think might be a bit naughty. The second thing I wanted to mention is that I was looking at the A'kin White Tea & Aloe Vital Hydration Gel Crème, would this be an appropriate moisturiser?

Thanks again Allison :):strawberry::apple::yellow:
