Hi Allison :waving:
I was on roaccutane for 6 months, and during that time as expected my skin was very dry including the skin under my eyes.. have been off the tablets for maybe about 3 or 4 weeks, and though my skin is pretty much normal again (normal, not oily though), I still have dehydration lines under my eyes even though I use a hydrating eye cream morning and night. Its not a heavy cream, but not a gel. Im only 19 so it cant be pernament wrinkles can it??? Do you recommened I use something stronger? Also when it comes to heavier creams that fight wrinkles or protect your skin from getting them, when is a good age to start using them?
Thankyou! :kissing:

Hi there,
I just did this program up for someone with the same concerns as you just having been on roaccutane. I am going to recommend a far more hydrating eye cream though. Your sebaceous glands need to start re-working as the medication will have dried everything up, not just the problem areas.
Am
Cleanse morning and night with ultraceuticals gentle cleansing gel: http://www.adorebeauty.com.au/adorebeauty/viewitem.asp?idproduct=1821
Follow with the wrinkle revenge eye cream:: http://www.adorebeauty.com.au/adorebeauty/brand.asp?id=134&on=suppliers
you will find it via this link when It comes back into stock- its super hydrating and very popular!
Leaves a matte finish and helps to clear.
And on top apply the ultra c eye cream: http://www.adorebeauty.com.au/adorebeauty/viewItem.asp?idproduct=10458
Excellent for fine line prevention! Use once a day for the first three weeks then both AM and PM
And follow with the becca primer SPF30+: http://www.adorebeauty.com.au/adorebeauty/viewitem.asp?idproduct=11020
This is so light for a sunscreen! Great for oily/problem skin and it’s a primer too!
PM
Cleanse as above
Apply the even skintone serum: http://www.adorebeauty.com.au/adorebeauty/viewitem.asp?idproduct=1829
Start every second-third night and then build up to every night. AHA and BHA combo for clearing blocked pores and exfoliation.
Follow with the ultraceuticals ultra a treatment cream- sheer: http://www.adorebeauty.com.au/adorebeauty/viewitem.asp?idproduct=10699
Super light- excellent for break outs and fine lines
Apply eye cream
additonal options:
Twice a week I would like to see you exfoliating with the MD formulations scrub with glycolic: http://www.adorebeauty.com.au/adorebeauty/viewItem.asp?idproduct=3881
Good for clearing and preventing black heads!
You will find the 15% glycolic mask in the alpha h range excellent as a weekly treatment, I find it works to clear while keeping the skin hydrated: http://www.adorebeauty.com.au/adorebeauty/viewitem.asp?idproduct=383
Skip this for the first two weeks so we don’t over load your skin.
The vitamin C and A that I included in your routine will deal with the break outs as well as uneven skin tone! A fantastic combo for results. Give your skin some time to adjust to the new routine, results will be gradually visible over the course of a few months. Eventually I would like to introduce a variation on this routine- a slightly stronger product to get even more results… drop me a line in a month and we can look at it then.
those 'wrinkles' around the eyes that you are noticing will probably be from dehydration from the medication. Take care of your skin now at a young age and you will minimise the aging progess. You don't need heavy creams right now. The regime there will keep your skin break outs under control but those ingredients as a bonus are anti aging too!

What a fantastic response.
I'm just wondering...
I have an 18 year old son who is going to the specialist on Tuesday to begin his Roaccutane treatment. Is this the kind of thing that he should commence along with the Roaccutane? Although, bearing in mind that he is a boy, is there a 'light' version?
