Gracie

thanks for the welcome everyone
my son is 7 months old, he's absolutely divine (i'm biased though!)
from adore i have got- 2 becca blushes
a becca brush
terax conditioner
becca primer (spf)- can't remember exactly what it's called :)
mmmm i think that's it so far
i want heaps more stuff...but i have to save and only buy things i really really want these days.
i'm more about quality than quantity these days, as i don't wear much make up (being home alone all day, there's no need) so i rather buy one off luxury buys than waste lots of money on little cheaper purchases like i used to when i was younger iykwim?
thanks so much for the warm welcome everyone, i look forward to getting lots of tips off you all

I know exactly what you mean. I am a new mum just gone back to work. It's hard enough to look after a new baby but you want skincare that is efficient and cheap. My perfect world is a cleanser, serum, moisturiser/spf and makeup that works and is easy:rollthoseeyes:.

Hello again
How did you find the Becca primer? I am really considering buying this but I get so dissapointed when I buy things and they aren't what I expected.

hi Catherine , how r u ?
I am really good. It's was really nice that someone seemed to recognise me!!! I don't get much time these days to get online. My son is now 9 months and I am back at work full time. I still make time every now and then to see what you beauty experts have to say!!!!!:chuckle:

Wow. I must admit I am a little overwhelmed. I honestly didn't think you guys would remember me from a bar of soap (or should I say a nice cleanser). I think I must start making my contribution a bit more often. You guys are tops! :glee:

This is funny. I am in bed typing away furiously away on our laptap and my hubby is next to me. He looks at me like what could you possibly be typing away at right now. I told him about how I am typing messages to other beauty lovers and he just couldn't believe it. So funny the look he gave me like are there other people like you out there!!! BTW he is a shift worker so is usually at work when i am online!!

OK here is my dilema. Not sure if I should be posting this here?? (Will I get in trouble :redcheeks:). I can't decide what to buy. Should I buy the Becca Primer/SPF, the IZ tinted daywear or the Dermoliga SPF Matte (not exactly sure what it's called). I basically want something to put on after my cleansing that has an SPF and won't make my skin oily and breakout.
loolabelle
20-05-2008, 10:36 PM
I'd go Becca, but I also don't like the IZ and Dermalogica has lost it's "shine" for me.
Rosie
20-05-2008, 10:37 PM
What about U/C SPF30+?
loolabelle
20-05-2008, 10:39 PM
Oooh yes, I love that. This would be more economical as well. I wear this every day.
Catherine
20-05-2008, 10:42 PM
I have tried the IZ before. I think if I liked it that much I would buy it again no hesitation but don't think I'm that sold. I like the sound of the Becca but also wouldn't mind the dermologica (I just have no idea on the spelling and a glass or two of wine doesn't help!!) Signed confused :chuckle: I just want one application after cleansing (if possible) then makeup (currently using the U/C mineral makeup).
Rosie
20-05-2008, 10:43 PM
The U/C SPF30+ would do your one step.
Catherine
20-05-2008, 10:47 PM
What about U/C SPF30+?
Oh yeah I forgot about that one. I actually bought that and liked it. Now I seriously don't know what to buy!!!
Rosie
20-05-2008, 10:49 PM
Go the U/C - it's fab for the 1 step. I love the IZ, but prefer 1 step, so have switched to U/C.
Also, my skin is dry, but when I work over the vats for hours a day, I get all icky when I use the IZ. Still happens with the U/C, but I don't feel as clogged.

Thanks so much for all your advice. I am going to bed now. Wow to be up at nearly 10pm on a Tuesday night is huge I love being in bed by about 7-7.30 when bubs goes to bed (yeah yeah laugh laugh but all you mums out there know what I mean)!!! Thanks again. I can't wait to get online in the morning!!!:penguin:

hi beauties
i have the ultraceuticals sp30 - love it as an everyday sunscreen, but i think the becca primer is better if you are going to put foundation over the top. if you don't wear foundation then u/c is better. the becca smells nicer but i think for everyday wear, i love the u/c. jmo!

Hi all :waving:
Im new!! Actually Ive been 'hovering' for a few days and now it's time to admit I have a weakness for beauty forums. Ive been a fan of Adore ever since I purchased an amazing mustard yellow tote bag I saw in the window a few years ago. I'd dropped in to pick up some product thereby forfeiting the delivery fee - and I walked out with an extra handbag, defeating the purpose of my original intention - it's amazing how the female justification gene works!
Um what else - I work as a Marketing Manager, I have a weakness for beauty advice (getting not giving!) live music, clothing warehouse sales and Frankie magazine. :chuckle:

Well done! Old ladies are known for their vicious fighting style - so if you can past them i'd say you'd have a fair chance at any fight club :chuckle: The boots look pretty cool ..
