Hey ALL!!!

I have posted a skin product recommendations here: http://forum.adorebeauty.com.au/showthread.php?t=2889

but then i was requested to come here for more help + information.

ATM what im currently doing to get better skin is:

CLeansing twice a day with Neutrogena Deep Cream CLeanser.
Exfoliator every 3rd day maybe 4th with Loral tzone exfoliator.
Changing Pillow cases more often
Not drinking soft drinks and ONLY drinking tons of milk + water + OJ when out.
Eat more fruits, like apple with skin, although i don't like the skin on apples :(
Using sunscreen basically everyday when outside or @ school. Ego one in my thread above
Wearing more protective clothing.
Taking Blackmores Skin + hair + nails. Just recently started taking these and i see little improvements already :)
Washing hands more often + washing face also

So all these have been trying to do everyday.. and i guess it helps ABIT... but i want to use a product that help me remove scaring of pimples and other gunk on my face... i know it takes time but i have been doing those other stuff for a while...

In the other thread i guess i was recommended this: http://www.adorebeauty.com.au/adorebeauty/viewitem.asp?idproduct=1822

but are there any other treatments/products i could do to help me?

Please let me know :)

Sorry for the long post but im keen on getting my skin looking as good as possible

ok so here was your first post just so we have all the info in one thread

" Hey all,

new to forums so be nice

anyways, i need to know whats the best cleanser i could get for myself? im a guy and have combination skin.. i have tried different sorts of cleansers including, loreal, neutrogena, cetaphil and 2 other ones... I dunno if they have worked but.. i see little to no change... I also need to know how to get rid of those things that are there after pimple has gone.. annoys me...

Now to sunscreen... whats the best sunscreen i could get for going out side? atm im using some ausscreen one when i go to school and need to buy some more and need some suggestions on which one to get.. ones that don't make my face shiny also....

My other questions are.. what else should i do to get really good smooth looking skin? atm im drinking tons of water + drinking omega 3 tablets + cod liver oil tablets... Should i take flaxceed oil also? like i don't drink all at once... i drink omega 3 on one day and cod liver on another day...

so any suggestions would be great guys " End Quote.

Scarring is best treated with retinol which helps to improve the surface texture of the skin. It works very well with vitamin C as well as a hydroxy acid complex.

So you are cleansing and applying sunscreen right now... any other moisturisers or products there also?

You wanted a super light sunscreen. This primer has a SPF30+ and is extremely light on the skin. Lighter than anything else I've tried so far with great ingredients: http://www.adorebeauty.com.au/adorebeauty/viewitem.asp?idproduct=11020

I will wait to check in on what other skin care you are using and we can then put together a routine to help with the scarring.

were there any other concerns we need to consider at the same time?

Hey Alison, and thanks for your reply :)

I don't think im using any other skin care products.

Just using:

Neutrogena Deep Cream Cleanser
Ego Sunsense Sunscreen + moisturizer SPF 30+ Matt Formula.

Thats all im doing ATM for my skin care products.

ATM im finding i really like the EGO stuff... its light also.. and doesn't make my skin feel oily at all. Feels great.

BTW what about small brown dots/spots? around the nose area..

also, what do you recommend me taking? atm im taking blackmores "skin, hair and nails"

So what do you recommend me now to remove scarring? thanks again :)

VERY VERY GOOD read indeed...

And i was looking at these products:

Alpha-H Alpha A Serum 0.5%
Ultraceuticals UltraClear Oily/Acne-Prone Gel
Murad Exfoliating Acne Treatment Gel
SkinCeuticals Phyto Corrective Gel
Ultraceuticals Ultra A Serum
Alpha-H Liquid Gold
Ultraceuticals Even Skintone Serum
MD Formulations Vit-A-Plus Clearing Complex
Cellex-C Clear Complexion Complex

which one is best suited for me?

damn such a big range to choose from

as you said, they contain retinol? i can't find any VITAMIN C or hydroxy acid complex in any of these products above...

wait i found this one: http://www.adorebeauty.com.au/adorebeauty/viewitem.asp?idproduct=1828

.HM. - you may want to give it a day or so to get a response - being the weekend a lot of the Adorables are off doing other things.

I am sure someone will have the answer for you. I can't help you, as I am not familiar with the products.
