My service is bad, it’s fast and there are no frills on the average rushed morning. No lingering over curves as I apply my body lotion, no sexy pout as I apply my lip stick. I am the fast food chef of beauty on a weekday, slapping it together in the perfunctory way, hands grabbing the first thing in front of me. There is little artistic enjoyment in drawing on my blank canvas.

Grab and slap may be my morning motto but if the morning sequence must be a quickie, surely there can be some enjoyment in the afterglow...
