I totally disagree with the Customer Service one - Myer has some of the worst going around. The staff for the most part are not engaged in the customer's experience and quite blase - even little things like carrying on unimportant conversations and making you wait to be served (and I am pretty patient) or not letting you on an escalator first and the conversations they have.
Don't agree with Clinique but I don't like Clinique so eh *shrug*

yeah I was going to say something similar about Myer. I can't recall receiving any good service from them

The staff are pretty self absorbed - they have this "Greet within 30 seconds thing" which SO isn't the case.
When I was trying to buy the boys watch I had to practically twist their arm to serve me and even then they palmed me off as soon as they could.
I got some great service on Saturday - but the chick was actually from Cue and just working at the Myer concession :chuckle:

True if you go during the busier times. I much prefer David Jones, their service is fantastic but staff can be thin on the ground.
I get great service from Myer when I am there at 9am. It is deathly quiet and they will always give you attention to make the first sale of the day.:whipcrack:

I cant stand the service at Sydney City DJs. I feel like they are stalking me in the perfume section. There is like 50 of them in one tiny corner, shoving paper at my nose.
I think MAC should have won the beauty counter thing.

Hah that's like in most perfume sections! WHy I avoid them! I find the time of day really doesn't differ with the service, nor should it be an excuse for bad service and unprofessionalism.

I dont like the benefit counter much. For some reason, I dont know if its just me, but all the cutesy wootsy crap and junk everywhere makes my head think the products dont actually work?
Im odd.

Am a bit surprised at the Clinique one - service in Canberra is pretty ordinary!
