hey im going to a party on a boat in a couple of weeks at night and its gonna be freezing!

its a dressy party so i have this gorgeous dress but i dont know what shoes and cardigan etc to wear with it

ill have to dance all night to stay warm, and should i bring a handbag or clutch type thing?

No, neither can I, but first suggestion is flats for the shoes (even without seeing the dress). Boats can be interesting to negotiate following a few drinks and in heels (have suffered for art in the past)

I think a silver little cropped cardi would suit this, silver accessories etc. Dainty silver shoes with a little heel as Dodts has mention is hard to navigate boats with high heels.

Are you in Sydney? Because it is Fareezing here at the moment! That would be way too cold for me to wear. Esp at night on the water bbbbbrrr! I'd be thinking long boots & tights.

Firstly i love the dress and i have heaps of ideas for you

black thick belt to cinch in your waist, black peep toe wedges that are almost flat, they will give you a little height but still allow you to be steady on your feet. black long sleeve cardy tucked into the belt so the belt would go over the cardy aswell. also if you can get a slip to go under teh dress for a little extra warmth, not a lot but better than nothing.

i think gold would be nice with the colour of that dress...short gold cardigan/shawl/bolero and gold shoes...heels or flats up to you

what about a hat? or a head scarf to help you stay warm? similar to holly brisley at the logies
