Just bought Stila eyeliner pencil. It actually does a very good job of staying put! Pricey ($38), but looks like it'll last for ages.

There is another eyeliner product Stila makes called 'smudge pots'. It's an eyeliner you put on with a flat brush, and it really really does not move until you take it off. And it seems to come off quite easily with a cleanser.

Thumbs up!

I'm in love with Stila! Their eyeshadows are of the best texture and colour and also the concealer is a charm!

Ooooh Luisa, you have never tried Stila? Stila rocks! Next time you're in David Jones go to Mecca Cosmetica and feast your eyes on the beautiful Stila products. I have loved Stila for as long as I can remember. I have quite a bit of Stila (surprise surprise).Things to look for:

Stila Lip Glaze - Gorgeous gloss in pen type tubes
Stila Convertible Colour - Gorgeous compacts to use on cheeks and lips.
Stila Eye Shadows- Blend beautifully (my fave is Kitten which is a gold shimmer).

Anyway I could rave on and on about Stila but you need to check out the range.

When I bought one of the Stila lip glazes for the first time I almost passed out when they rang up the price. But it was totally worth it - they have such a lovely texture and a great range of colours too. Am a total Stila convert now, my favourite is the all-over shimmer.

The shimmer is great. Are you talking of the one in the metallic blue tube with stars on it Rasberryberet?

My favourite Stila Lip Glaze is Watermelon (bubble gum pink)!

Me Too Lol. I have heaps of them. They are good except I find that they leak a little on the tip of the brush after each use.

Thought I'd report back on my Stila products, now that I've had them to play with for a few weeks.

Natural Finish Oil-free Makeup: a liquid foundation. Love, love, love it. Has a semi-matte finish and isn't too heavy. When my skin is behaving I just use it in the t-zone.

Perfecting Foundation: this is a stick foundation with buildable coverage, but still a nice light texture, so doesn't feel like it's clogging your pores.

Eyeshadows in Key (lilac), Wisteria (violet) and Cassis (eggplant): what more can I say. These eyeshadows are just about unbeatable in my book; they blend so well and last beautifully.

Kajal Eyeliner: think I've reviewed this before; it's great! Super-soft.

For other Stila fans the online store is having a sale (note the prices are in US dollars but these are still cheaper than they are here). I keep going in to order, then putting the credit card back under a big rock where it belongs!:

Felt inspired to email Stila and enquire as to whether they may include us in their shipping down the track. It seems that they want to but are still getting around to it. I was a bit cheeky and informed them that Benefit was able to! I actually got two responses which I have cut and pasted below.

Thank you for your input. We ourselves would love to offer our products
internationally. We are aware of our grand support in Australia and do
have plans to reach globally online. We do offer our products in MECCA
but in the NEAR future we do not have any plans. Contact us in 6 months
and we will have a better grasp on not if, but when we will be online in
Australia. Thank you for your continued support!

Hello,
Thank you for your e mail. We would love nothing but to be able to ship
internationally. For the moment we are having glitches with our new web
site just shipping nationally. Once phase 2 of this web site launches
we can work on broadening our shipping. I appreciate your input and
also would like you to know that Stila is available at all MECCA
Cosmetica locations in Australia...

Hope for us yet!

I am loving my most recent Stila purchases, my Eye Shimmer pots. The colour is really intense & I can build the density from a soft shimmery wash to an electric eyeliner with the help of a wet brush.
I have 4 (bronze), 6 (green), 9 (blue). See pic below.

I also have the Vanity Fair pallette. 3 eyeshadows - a shimmery sheer white, shimmery charcoal & matte navy/grey. The Stila pigment is so dense I find I only need a tiny bit.

All Over Shimmer, Face Luminizer in 7.

Sheer Lipstick in Becky. Very wearable colour.
Lip Shines in Pink, Icicle & Rosey. These are varieties of pale pink & a little frosted.

Has anyone happened to try Stila's Lip Glaze sticks? I'm just trying to picture what the texture is like & how sheer they are compared to the glazes. The website says that they are more shimmery than the glazes, but they look like they would be more pigmented as well???

I was browsing the net for reviews about the Lip glaze stick & I found this (I didn't realise there were 'real life people' makeup reviews) :chuckle:

Okay guys, this is ridiculous, but I need your help. I bought a Stila 3-pan palette off ebay, to put my eye-shadows into so its easier for travelling, toting around etc. However, I am having difficulty getting the eye-shadows out of the little individual pans :redcheeks: :explode: how do you get them out??

with most eyeshadows u need to flip it over & see if there is a little spot , like a pin head [it maybe under the sticker] , normally u poke something through like a safety pin point or paper clip stretched out , otherwise i would email them or ring Mecca :)

I'm assuming you have the paper pans? I also bought a palette & had to get one of my eyeshadows out of the paper pans. They are actually glued to the pan, so you actually have to rip them out. I had a bit of trouble, but did manage to get it out. You have to get something which will fit inbetween the eyeshadow and the pan, just to at least loosen one edge - even if it's a sewing needle (one of the larger, thicker ones). I think I may have even used those little nail scissors (the ones that are quite pointy at the end). Sorry, it was a couple of years ago that I did this (struggling to remember!) - but it is possible. When you do get it out, just remove any excess paper so that the magnet can stick as well as possible into the new palette. Good luck!

A couple of weeks ago I purchased a Stila Makup bag with stacked trays in it. It is smallish but holds quite a bit and I love the tray with all the hinges and fold out shelves etc. It only cost $50 and came with deluxe Stila sample sized products inclusing:

Mini Mascara- Just the size of the ones you get in gwp etc

Mini Lip Pencil - in a shade that's very close to the natural lip colour

Shimmer Powder - In the cutest little Stila Compact (quite a good size for the handbag)

Ltd Editon Stila Lipglaze - In Raspberry Sorbet (the same size as the ones in the gift of glaze pack)

Mini Creme Bouquet Perfume sample

This was an online only iffer so it won't be in Mecca stores.

I have a palette - it's really good but as LBB said, so over-priced. You could probably get it on eBay for cheap.

The eyeshadows are lovely (mostly shimmer though) and they have some cult faves - Kitten, for example, is a soft gold that suits just about everyone.

Other stuff wot I like:
- Convertible Colours: use for cheeks, lips and (if you're brave!) eyes. More info here: http://www.stilacosmetics.com/product_detail.asp?PMID=207&category_id=5&pos=1&viewall=
- Lip Glazes: very good lip glosses and they have good staying power. But priced at $60 each or something ridiculous. There are a couple of discount websites which shall remain nameless where you could get these for a better price. Or at Cosmo Cosmetics, as fuss suggested. Colours are here: http://www.stilacosmetics.com/product_detail.asp?PMID=235&category_id=51&pos=1&viewall=
- Smudge Pots: top stuff for smokey eyes. Come in a range of shades: http://www.stilacosmetics.com/product_detail.asp?PMID=77&category_id=4&pos=1&viewall=yes
