Hello!!! I'm a long time reader, first time poster!
I'm really enjoying this forum! People here seem very friendly and a GSOH..
About me - well.... I'm looking really forward to starting my Makeup Course @ The Academy of Makeup next week, and I have a very strong passion about the beautification of oneself :chuckle:
I completed my Master's Degree at university (because I was a good girl and listened to my parents) and now I want to become a Makeup Artist (and not a scholar, much to their dismay)...
Look forward to reading what everyone has to say here!!

Sounds like you and I will have something in common - I did the uni thing and am working away, but am also a term into the Certificate IV in Make Up course. I'm having a blast, and hope you are too. We'll have to swap stories!

I actually did my Master in International Public Health @ USYD. I really loved it!! I actually want to go back to uni someday and get into a PhD in the same field.. but right now I want to do something creative and use my hands!

I also think it would be heaps cool to say to people that I'm a professional Makeup Artist who Lectures part time ;) :D hehe!
