I tried the Baby Bees Shampoo Wash and Buttermilk Lotion over the weekend and I am loving them.
The Shampoo Wash - I used this as a body wash, and also to clean my make up brushes. It lathered up nicely in the shower and smells lovely but not overpowering. My skin felt smooth afterwards, and fresh.
My make up brushes were soooo soft this morning! I will never use anything else on them again.
Buttermilk Lotion - slightly shiny as I rubbed it into my legs, it felt lovely and light but still penetrated my skin to moisturise well. It smells lovely too, but again it is a gentle smell and would not interfere with perfume.
I am going to keep these as regular staple items in my routine. It is lovely to use such gentle products which I know are doing nice things for my skin - it's also great to see the 'natural ingredients' content of each product.
Can't wait to try more!

Thanks Celeste. I am keen to try more of these products too. I love the Lip Shimmer and The Baby Bee All Better Balm smells gorgeous. I want to get that as a gift for my baby neice.
I would like to try this Shampoo Wash. Sounds good especially the brush thing. I need a good brush cleaner.

I want the whole range! Will definitely keep posting reviews.
Oh I also have the lip balm in the tin. I LOVE the mintiness, I apply it all day long - it lives on my desk. Think I'll try the tube next as I have to keep digging my finger in (I like more product than just a swipe over the top of the balm, although Mum thinks that is plenty "chuckle:)
This will be going in all of my gifts to everyone!

I bought the Pomegranate one from Adore the other day. It is ok but there is still something in it that has some kind of menthol/camphor sort of smell. I cant see any reference to it on the tiny packaging or it might just be one of the essential oils. Did a good job on my lips though.

Yeah, what is it with mint in lippie stuff!! I got some Palmers the other day (cause I like the chocolate smell and I had chapped lips) and when I put it on -- major tingle!! So I takes me a squiz at the label, Chocolate and MINT!! What's up with that??!! Now, I kind of like it, though, oh well:rollthoseeyes:
Getting back on topic - I have been buying tons of things from Burt's Bees when I go home to see my family. They sell it EVERYWHERE in Los Angeles. My favorite is the Bite and Blemish Oil. I can never find it here and it is the ONLY thing that makes my mozzie bites stop itching!! I don't see it on the website, wonder if you will carry it, cause I might buy a case!!!

Well I've been trailing the Baby Bees Shampoo Wash and Buttermilk Lotion over the weekend. And no I don't have any kids but sometimes I like to imagine I have a fat Asian baby because they are cuuuuuuute!!!!! Anyway, that's a different story!
The shampoo was also a body wash which is what I used it for and I loooooove this stuff!! It's so gentle. It smells nice and surpisingly acually lasts a fair while. What I thought was lathering up alot of myself in was only a tiny amount withdrawn from the bottle.
If I had a kid (preferably fat) I would want it to smell like this!!
The buttermilk is really moisturising!! The smell is strong but it's not that unpleasant.
Overall these products are great! If you are after something gentle then these are definitely the way to go. I am very keen to check the rest of the range out now.
Thanks again for the samples guys!

The chief executive of Burt's Bees has been in Adelaide recently, as Burt's Bees will be establishing it's Australian division here in one of our southern suburbs (near the beach) :worship:
Can't wait to see what they open here :penguin:

I have been trialling the Baby Bee products on my kids (4 & 6). I also gave them to my sister to test on her kids (7, 3 & 1) as they suffer very dry itchy skin that reacts to almost everything. Here are our thoughts.
Burt's Bee Baby Bee Shampoo & Body Wash
http://www.adorebeauty.com.au/adorebeauty/viewitem.asp?idproduct=11658
I'm happy that this is a sulphate free shampoo as I think all baby washes should be. It is the safest option for their brand new skin. Like most SLS free products it is low suds but that does not hinder the effectivness. After 1 shampoo my girl's long hair was clean, no need for a 2nd wash. The shampoo left their hair clean without stripping it dry. My sister found this a great product to clean her kids also. Often their skin will flare up in red blotches immeadiantly after coming into contact with a new product but she was able to shampoo and wash them without drama. She commented that it made great bubbles in the bath too, which can be hard to find with SLS free products.
Burt's Bee Baby Bee Buttermilk lotion
http://www.adorebeauty.com.au/adorebeauty/viewitem.asp?idproduct=11654
This is quite a light body lotion which is easy to massage in and sinks into the skin straight away. No greasiness.
My sister really loved the smell of this and reported again no reaction from this product either. She does prefer a richer cream for her kid's dry skin, so maybe the Skin Cream http://www.adorebeauty.com.au/adorebeauty/viewitem.asp?idproduct=11659 or the Apricot Baby Oil http://www.adorebeauty.com.au/adorebeauty/viewitem.asp?idproduct=11652 would be more suited to their skintype.
The Starter Kit http://www.adorebeauty.com.au/adorebeauty/viewitem.asp?idproduct=11720 would be a fabulous gift for any mum-to-be or new arrival. It has everything you need.

fab review Medusa
we have also been trialing the wash here
i feel that the hair / body wash is on par with alchemy , it has the same thick consistency & feels very 'rich' & highly concentrated. So far it has lasted through a bath , as a body wash & shampoo for myself & as a body wash for both of the kids at least 3 times & we have about 1/3 left in the sample bottle which is about 30ml . It worked great as a shampoo for me & we found it to foam very well , surprising for an sls free product. This product has a very delicate smell.
Overall i would purchase again & would happily recommend it
i haven't trialled the lotion yet :whistle::redcheeks:
EDIT : washed my daughters hair with this [body / hair wash] on Saturday , great stuff , we found it easy to rinse out which was great for us

We definitely sent it Loola, but it might have been at the time you moved offices and it would have gone to the old office address as no other was supplied. Can you check with the old offices to see if it's there for you?
We don't have any left so there is nothing to send as a replacement.

James advised it was sent to an old address - maybe it would be useful to confirm addresses before things are sent out? I know I personally have 3 different ones on file.
NO way of checking with the old office as we are no longer there.
