If I find myself talking about A Product at a dinner party, then I know it's good fodder for my fruits. And so, last week, as I was joyously slurping on some soup (Thai-style pumpkin featuring more Chili than TLC) I found myself discussing the merits of finding insect legs in your sink. Explanation: Clinique's new-ish Lash Power mascara. It was made for humid climates, you know, those places where your mascara runs all by itself, with no assistant from...

Has anyone tried this mascara out? No matter what mascara I use, I always have a problem with getting black rings under my eyes, or who knows where else.. and dont want to use waterproof mascara alllll the time...

I have and love the Mirenesse Secret weapon mascara,it really does coat your lashes in little tubes!!! I have really long lashes so didn't notice any lengthening with this one but it goes on easy and no clumping, which I seem to get with 'ordinary'mascaras.and it really is much easier to get off at the end of the day, just hot/warm water and its off!!!

Will have to give them a go, for the sake of not always having to worry that it looks like i have dark bags under my eyes all the time! too bad there not too volumising or lengthening though...

The mascara is a good everyday one, but because of my love of drag queen lashes I dont get much use out of it. Its a good "office mascara" though.

Sorry if this is off topic... but has anyone tried the Bloom Full and Flirty? I'd be interested to hear some opinions on it.

I really like it Angela. I found it quite thin for the first week, but once it gets a bit of air into it it thickens right up to be really quite volumising. Perhaps not quite as massive-false-lashes as something like Clarins Wonder Volume but much easier to remove, and doesn't smudge at all.

Serena , do u use eye cream ? or accidentally run your face moisturiser up close to the eye region ? have a check to see , it is really easy to do & these things will contribute to the panda eye

Might be good for me - I have to be very careful or I end up with mascara on my browbone - such a good look!

I've used the kevin Aucoin one and am currently using the new clinique one. I love these tube mascaras. I used to have to wear waterproof versions as can be known to rub my eyes :redcheeks: and with these mascaras theres is no smudging what so ever. I actually find the clinique one better as the kevin one flakes a bit.

I have a sample of that Clinique one but have not cracked it yet. Really liking their High Impact mascara (not tube) Does anyone know if they are similar?
I've used the Mirensse one and the tube thing freaks me out a bit :redcheeks:

yes fusspot I do... is it bad to pat your eye cream right up to your lower lashes? I find that lately I have to or I get dehydration lines due to my skin being so dry (medication)...

well not bad serena , but with a lot of people it will be too much , eye cream is warmed by the skin so it will be drawn upwards , so if it already there it may run up into your eye make up causing it to drop or smudge
i think Luisa puts here DermaDr one up close though , so that one might be alright
try using it along the orbital bone for morning & keep going the way u have at night time & see if that makes a diff, or use a cream / gel one as it shouldn't have the same impact in the morning :)
but do make sure your face moisturiser doesn't make it that far up

Me too, I absolutely hate them! I remove my eye makeup with remover and a cotton pad so the tubes just end up in my eyes!

I dont know why this could make a difference or why some people suffer from panda eyes. I have always worn eye cream right up to my lashes but have never had a problem with smudging mascara in any brand I have used. Mmmmm?

I dont even have a problem with eyeliner fuss although the Jemma Kidd ones really stay put after they set.
