Yesterday I received my Model Co Face Off face scrub from Adore Beauty. I used it last night. It smells beautiful (citrus scented) and it felt sooo good on my skin. It's coarse but gentle. Think this one is a winner guys and it is very reasonably priced (around $36) and the packaging is very convenient!

Modelco Face Base - evens out skin, a little goes a long way and is in a hygenic tube instead of a double dipper tub. Not matte, good those of us with dryer ksin.

Model shimmer whip in champagen - very shimmer, darker than i expected but once again a little goes a long way. Mix with foundation for extra radiance.

I'm trying out the new Lip Lights lip glosses today - they are very nifty!! They have a light in the lid and a mirror on the side so you can reapply anywhere. Best of all, the gloss itself is really nice - thick and shiny without being tooo sticky. My only gripe is the limited colour range, they really need a red and a deeper pink :cryinggreen:

I agree with you Princess Precious about the Model Co Face Base. I have it but think it would be best suited to those with dryer type skins. It's brilliant on my cheeks as they tend to get a bit dry but it makes my slightly oily t-zone quite greasy.

I picked up my Model Co Fluidsplash 3 in one foundation yesterday. As foundations scare me (usually dont like the feel or colour match) I am REALLY happy with this one. The colour (02 shell) is a really good match for my skin and the concealer in the lid a perfect colour and consistency. Thanks Adore!

Oooh Luisa,
How much was the fluid splash foundation? Was thinking of buying the new skII air spray one over the weekend but at $195.00 It better be good! Might have to invest in this Model Co one!

It's about $58.00. Am really impressed with it. No thanks to SA on counter at DJ's though, she picked out the next (darker) shade and even in that dreadful light I knew it was way too dark. LOVE the idea of the new SKII but so not convinced that it would actually go on my face and not all over my hair and bathroom!!:chuckle:

Received the free ModelCo extend lash mascara with this months madison magazine and found it to be very good - gave alot of length (even though i didnt need it) and was not clumpy. Would really consider purchasing this one. Has anyone else used it?

Luisa Brown,
I was so impressed by your Model Co Fluidsplash foundation on Sunday I am considering purchasing it. Knowing how fair I am what shade would you suggest I get?

Do you think the lightest shade would still be too dark for me?

Hi pinkcupcake! If I were you I would try the colour before purchasing. There is only one colour lighter than mine and you are quite fair. It is a lovely foundation which dries to a lovely finish and would be perfect for your skin type!

I am not sure if this is the right thread:redcheeks:

Has anyone tried the ModelCo heated lashwand? I am looking for reviews.

Hi Melbourne Girl,
I have the Model Co heated lash wand. I can't say that I use very often. However it really does curl up those lashes and seems to do a much better job than just your average manual eyelash curler. It is a massive hit in the U.S and U.K. and make-up devotees swear by it. It takes a minute to heat up but it does make those lashes stand up to attention. At around $30 it is wrth a try!

Kate,
I am interested in purchasing the Model Co Fluis Splash Foundation. Unfortunately Myer in Hobart doesn't stock Model Co any more so I am unable to try it out. My skin is very very fair. I usually buy the lightest shade in every foundation range when purchasing foundation. Is the lightest shade in the Model Co Fluid Splash very light?

Yep it's pretty light. I use the second shade.

Recently purchased Model-Co Fluid splash foundation. Awesome. Covers well yet feels light on. I got the Face Base to go with it also, which I am still undecided about. It feels extremely silky on the skin but may be better suited to a drier skin. Not that i am overly oily but theres just something about it I'm not sure about...... hmm, maybe its something you get used to.

I love everything i have tried from model co..

Spray tan in a can, great colour, just a quick spray and your brown straight away while your tan is developing underneath. Perfect for nights out. I always pray its not going to rain lol

Cleansed body wash, has extracts of hibiscus and bamboo so it smells devine and no SLS's so it was perfect for my skin.

Shimmer Whip in champagne, i really only use this on make-up free days :redcheeks: cheating yes i know but i find if i mix it with my foundation i look TO illiminated and a bit greasy because i always wear bronzer over my foundation and my bronzer is really quite illuminating by itself

Shimmer airbrush illuminator, gives a nice shen to skin and again has the hibiscus fragrance.

Spray on moisturiser, smells like hibiscus again not overally moisturising, would only use it as a quick top up during the main not as main body moisturiser.

You cant go wrong with it especially during the warmer months. I am currently loving my Mirenesse Velvet Lift (despite the dodgy lid) for a heavier coverage but the Model Co one is a must. I have Shell and Shore, Shell for cooler months (when I am pastier!) an Shore when I have a little colour. The concealers hidden in the lid are ok, very much on the powdery side. I wouldnt be able to use the one in the Shore lid as it is too dark for me. Well worth a go!

I've just started using the face exfoliant and my skin has never been smoother. Its very grainy but also very fine at the same time. It got all the rough bits off and it left my skin glowing after 1 use. My only problem is i find it hard to wash off, just when think its all gone another little scrubber thing is on your cheek.

I hope the body exfoliant is as fabulous as the face one.

I thought I would post this here too:

Ok so I used the ModelCo Heat Cap Mask last night. Now this is one strange product.
It says that you only need to leave it on for a minute, that's all. It heats up on your skin and you just massage it in.
Ok so pretty much to sum it up, it's like putting thick glue on your face, like glagg almost. Oh and it also has little beads in it like a scrub. So yes it did heat up on contact and i massaged it in for a minute.... or two
Although I did this it didn't really feel like it was doing anything for my skin at this point.
When I washed it off my skin started to feel dry and I was like, yeah that's normal you wash off a deep cleansing mask and your skin feels a bit tight, no dramas from me. But then once I dried my face my skin felt soft and hydrated as!! I can't describe this!
Usually you read masks and the both promise to "deep clean and hydrate" and I'm like yeah whatever, like you could do both, you will most likely just make my face tight. Which is usally what happens when I use clay masks.
But this mask did both!! It was really wack! but in a good way. The only thing I didn't notice was a visible difference to my face all that much. It sure felt like it, but didn't show it.
I think I'm going to buy more of these and rotate them with my usual mask once a week and see how they go. Pretty impressed.

I have been using the Modelco Skin perfect Pore Minimiser under my foundation, and I no longer have to blot or use powder throughout the day. I have an oily tzone and usually it turns into any oil slick, but this product is brilliant.
