Last week I purchased 4 Large 2 Peas in a pod scented candles. After Oz had bought the vanilla bean candle and raved about how good it was I just had to get Adore to get some in for us. I am so glad I decided to do this.

I am a scented candle Freak. I literally have hundreds that are just sitting in the cupboard waiting to one day get used. In my opinion there is nothing nicer or more relaxing than a scented candle burning in any room.

The four Large Candles I purchased by 2 Peas In A Pod were:

Vanilla Bean, Jasmine, Cucumber and Lavender.

I wasn't sure what they were going to be like and to be totally honest thought that they would be average due to the low price of around $19 each. I am very much a believer in the saying you get what you pay for.

However I had heard reviews from quite a few different people saying they were gorgeous so naturally I wanted to try them all.

I picked up my Adore Order last week containing my 2 Peas In A Pod candles and I could smell the scents wafting out of the box before I had even opened it (this is always an encouraging sign for me). Of course I had to open each of their boxes to get a feel for what the scents were like. Here's my Thoughts:

Vanilla Bean - This is a rich sweet vanilla fragrance (definitely my favourite).

Jasmine - This is a sweet Jasmine floral scent (and it's pink which means it's a winner in my opinion)

Cucumber - I didn't think I would like this but was so curious I orderd it anyway:chuckle:!! I absolutely love it! It's a really crisp fresh scent, not too green just nice and clean and refreshing.

Lavender - Calling all Lavender Lovers. This is a gorgeous lavender (and I am not usually a lavender fan at all). This would be fab for the bedroom prior to sleeping at night.

On Sunday night I started burning the Vanilla Bean Candle. At first I couldn't smell it much but after around ten minutes the full body of the scent developed and my room was encased in vanilla Bean Scent. I walked out of the room momentarily and when I walked back in the smell was even more evident. I simply could not believe the quality of the fragrance in these candles for such a reasonable price.

I highly rate these candles. They will certainly be re-purchased by me in the future and they will also make gorgeous gifts as well. I am planning to get Mum some for Mother's day as she is a scented candle freak also.

Just note that you have to trim the wick prior to lighting these candles as otherwise the flame gets a little too high. If you trim the wick to about 1.5 cm each time before you use it you will be fine.

Also from the 2 Peas In A Pod Range I have had:

Eau De 2 Peas Fragrances in Vanilla Bean, Fig and Frangipani. These frangrances come in the most adorable little bottles which are perfect for travel or your hand bag. They have very good staying power on my skin. They are so reasonably priced also. These are also Danni Minogue's favourite scents.

I also have the Vanilla Bean and Frangipani Room Sprays - These are gorgeous. They are quite light and also able to be sprayed on linnen and pillows. I always take one of these away with me when travelling as I have found very few hotel bathrooms supply air freshener!!

2 Peas Pillow Mist - This is lightly fragranced with lavender. I spray it on my pillow occasionally when I can't sleep.

Vanilla Bean and Jasmine Bubble Baths - These smell absolutely gorgeous although they don't bubble up as much as some other bubble baths do. I always add heaps of things to my baths anyway so all the other products sud it up. I have also used these as shower gels.

Vanilla Bean and Jasmine Body Lotions - These smell sensational and can be used as both a body lotion and a hand cream. The texture is quite light and is easily absorbed into the skin. I find these good for when I am in a huge rush as I can slather it on and getdressed straightaway without having to wait for it to absorbe. It doesn't stain your clothes either.

If the candle is anything to go by, you would love the cucumber Jaime.

How to describe it Amaranth, hmmmm it's very sweet so if you like sweet fragrances you will love this. If however you are not a fan of the sweeter fragrances then this one wouldn't be for you.

It is pretty sweet for a fig scent, hey?

I tried the Jasmine but it didn't work on me...vanilla was seriously good though.

I really, really like the pillow mist and the little laundry sachets - great for travel.

I am a vanilla fan, I have TBS vanilla but I used to like the one they had years ago better.. it seems to have changed.. Ihave no idea what fig would smell like but it appeals for some reason!

I used them when we were overseas RBB. I stole the idea off Kate and washed our undies in the bathroom sink of the hotel :chuckle::chuckle:

And doesn't PCC feel slightly smug that she got in early and got all the candles which I might say I am loving! Oh and I also have a couple of the Pillow Mists :whipcrack::whipcrack::chuckle::chuckle:
