Am looking to set up a home business for one day per week for skin therapy treatments and products. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions on what are different things I could offer? I usually research things pretty well, have been to alot of salons and day spas myself and always do my homework with products. So I'm fine with what products I want to retail and use, just thinking more along the lines of how to offer that something special.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,

Maybe if you post your experience, qualifications, what products you want to use, we will be able to help you more. :waving:

hot stone massage is a great idea , but i don't know of anything unique though, r u going to be a premium spa experience or a more affordable one ?

Ok no worries!

I've been interested in skin treatments for 14 years, have just completed my Cert IV in Beauty Therapy which included filling out a log book for doing treatments. So my experience is not that great because I am "new". I want to use Organic Spa for facials, Spa Ritual for manicures and pedicures (with Organic Spa here and there), eventually purchase a roll on wax applicator system, Nvey and Claytime makeup ranges.

Does this help a bit? If there's anything else I can tell you let me know, thanks! :)

I would like to be a combination and offer some luxurious treatments as I expand. Currently I'm qualified to do waxing, manicures, pedicures, tinting, makeup, facials and Swedish body massage. Would like to do more training in the future to offer different kinds of massage and be better at waxing and makeup.

Already have a brochure with treatments in it covering the above areas. Am wondering about any little finishing touches that people may have ideas on in regards to those treatments. I hope this makes sense...

Seeing as organic is so big now, I think you should really push the fact that you specialise in organics.
