This is continuing on from My previous thread 'medium coverage foundation for pale skin'..

I went into Lancome and tried 'Color Ideal' in "010".

This seemed pretty great, (even though I have dry skin) it wasn't 'sticky' like the Bobbi Brown Moisture Rich foundation i tried.

I also tried Estee Lauder Lucidity which was again a bit too sticky.

I don't want a liquid to matte makeup, but I don't want a heavily moisturising - anti aging foundation either.
I want something buildable, and to completely even out skin tone and make my skin look flawless. So probably medium coverage.

Not sure what to do!! I am pretty impressed with the Color Ideal, as it isn't too moisturising but still isn't too dry (Double wear is way too dry for me).

Colour is also a big issue for me, I have found MAC, Chanel etc don't go light enough for me. Does Color Ideal go any lighter than "010"?

But I haven't heard anything about Color Ideal or Lancomes foundations before. Are they good? Please give me your reviews!!

Im surprised because every Bobbi Brown found. that i;ve tried has been amazingly velvety. Each one to their own but that's because I have normal to combo skin. Good luck my friend!

hay i use lancomes foundation
in just 01 because its more yellow toned rather than 010 is more pink toned. i use teint idole ultra and i love it. dont apply it heavily smooth it on with fingertips or preferably a sponge or foundation brush for best results. doesnt dry matte nor does it dry 'dewy' it just is inbetween dries to perfect skin!! lol its very natural and evens out my skin perfectly. if you wanna try it lancomes gift with purchase starts at terry whites this wednesday. free skincare moisturiser/cleanser mascara juicy tube gloss lipstick and m up bag :) and the foundation qualifies for the gift itself. :) goodluck!
