Tara Reid is a trashy tart burger. And her stomach weirds me out.

She is, but I have a soft spot for her since she's in my favourite movie EVER.

The Big Lebowski baby. Best. Movie. Ever. Accept no imitations. I quote it ohhh....twenty, twenty-five times a day, easy. Everyone in my family knows it by heart and constantly quotes it. Yeah we're a bit weird like that. Plus my sig line is from that movie too. Don't even get me started on how much I love it, I am obsessed about it like other people are with Star Wars or LOTR.

OMG my brother and I JUST quoted it to each other just then!

CeeJaye

You should rectify that.

No but it's not everyone's cup of tea. Some people don't get it. It's a "cult" film. If you get it though, most hilarious movie ever.

CeeJaye
27-03-2008, 11:10 PM

CeeJaye
27-03-2008, 11:10 PM

Yeah it should be! In arthouse or comedy. If you can't find it I'll express post it to you, I have two copies just in case I ever lose one (actually I lie, they brought out a special edition one and I had to buy it too).

LOL the hairiness I can deal with, the "simple girl" thing I cannot. Ba-BOW. Still, if anyone finds a guy who loves The Big Lebowski (or any other Coen movies really), send him over.

Ceej let me know if you can't find it and I'll express it down to ya! Oh I saw it at Big W for $12.97 the other day too. I took a photo cos I thought it was sad that it was in the bargain bin.

they had this on ACA last night. Someone was saying if the celebs lived in this particular town (Frankston or something???) that's what they would look like :chuckle:. Some of the townfolk were really offended

Celeste(Staff)
28-03-2008, 01:29 PM
How funny!! I reckon they all looked so realistic - especially Catherine Zeta Jones and Gwen! And also - Tara Reid - but that looked like her on any Saturday night anyway :chuckle:

I'm from Frankston!!! I'm offended!! :chuckle:
They wouldn't look like that. Frankston people aren't fat. We have junkies! Der get it right.
Maybe Tara Reid would fit in

emmy
28-03-2008, 01:35 PM
:chuckle: My partner lives just past Frankston. Yeah there's not really any fat ppl....just junkies!

Trash
28-03-2008, 01:37 PM

Trash
28-03-2008, 01:40 PM
It's not that bad. But then again it's probably because I'm a local :chuckle:
I hate how people say the people bring a bad name to Frankston.
Frankston was always a crap hole!! There used to be nothing there and then when the made the stupid buildings all of a sudden it was the people brining down Frankston.
Those people were always there, you just build around them. So don't blame the people because we were here first :chuckle:

emmy
28-03-2008, 01:46 PM
I think the problem with Frankston is that it is generally a low economic income area, apart from Nth Frankston area and the beach area. So, like other places like Dandenong, Narre Warren, etc it attracts drugs, unemployment, etc. So on the whole it can appear bad, but there are good people there! I used to live there for about a year, and my partner lives 15mins away - which will be interesting for me as I hate Frankston and how unsafe I feel there

Well I worked at the youth center there and often had to liaise with other community services so I don't know if it's just that I have a trust with the locals there, but I don't find it unsafe at all.
Not to say crap doesn't go down it happens alot. I don't know if anyone remembers the news and ACA but a kid got bashed at the train station and all of he's teeth had to be replaced. Yeah, that was my friend.
But I think people tend to focus on the bad.
We have ummmmm a beach?

jaime
28-03-2008, 01:52 PM
they said it was a seaside town!

Trash
28-03-2008, 01:54 PM

All suburbs/cities have good and bad types. SOme of you may recall that I lived in Camberwell and had a horrible neighbour who made it his mission to terrorise me - in Camberwell, which is regarded as conservative and well-heeled. So you just never know.

Rosie
28-03-2008, 01:55 PM
True, but sometimes the not-so-nice people tend to congregate in one area. *sigh* Such is life.

I think I have just had bad experiences - small things, like guys looking me up and down and making suggestive comments and I really dislike seeing certain parents who smoke and scream and swear at their kids :shakehead: Also at the entrance of the train station I get nervous going through cos at certain times alot of drunks/gangs/groups hang round this area.
Hope your friend is okay Trash :hugs:

Emmy I have been randomly grabbed and kissed in Frankston!! I was sure I would get aids or something :chuckle:

We only have e'm if you know where to look (well, sorta thing) and because you get the choice of junkies or rats, I pick the rats. Although, Council is making a huge move to clear out the areas they are in, so as to have more room for the junkies/drunks. Or rather, to move the undesirables out of sight.
