Ooooo, yeah I saw those, but I really wanted a khol liner in purple.

So I just bought a rimmel one from priceline in my lunchbreak and it's got a sharpener at the end, which I thought was cool, but now that I've played with it more, I'm not so excited. It lacks serious blendability -- it just rubs out instead of smokifing :shakehead:

Tell us how the black gold comes out. Is it like a dark bronze or black with flecks of gold?

I am on the look out for a black/purple also. I have a Napoleon eyeliner but they are so hard I feel like I am tearing my skin off! I am also not too happy with my POP Glitter Stix either. While I like the concept & the colour I find that the glitter falls off onto my cheeks after a while. The gel based ones are so much better.

Ok, so I was intrigued.....

Picked up the Black/Navy khol today from Adore. I actually tried it on while I was still in the car and it looks sensational. Kate and Celeste had the Black/Gold one on and that looked amazing! The black/navy one is not so sparkly though and when you take off the lid, dont be scared of the vivid blue colour, it actually goes on nice, dark and smokey!

it does look quite blue in the pic, but I'll take your word for it LB! I'm intrigued by the black/gold too.....hmmm I feel another order coming on :chuckle:

The Black/Gold is kind of hard to describe. It is not black, or at least I wouldn't call it black. It's kind of a dark goldy/bronze, but still gold. The black base gives it the depth that a gold liner could not have, but it looks lovely and dark goldy when it's on. I looooove it. I think it would look hot all over the eye lid and blended a bit upwards to lighten it up.

I loved the black gold on your eyes and yes the black navy would suit you too!;)

I really feel for people who have mortgages at the moment. When my parents were young they bought their first house no worries at all. However today people are put under such extreme financial pressure to buy even the most basic property. Lets not get started on rising interest rates etc.

I agree, PCC. Although part of me always reminds myself that it was my choice to buy a house - it is a good investment (if well-selected in terms of location, uniqueness etc) but really I couldn't care less if I owned a house or not. Hubby was more keen than me. Buying a house is something a lot of people do because they think they have to, or because it is the socially normal thing to do when you 'grow up'. But it is not an option for everyone - and it is also very much an Australian thing. Many people in big cities like NYC or London do not buy houses or aspire to. But as I mentioned it can be a safer investment option and I do believe you need to invest your earnings into something in order to create a nest egg for your future.

The Jemma Kidd purple pencil is a very dark plum.

No because I thought it was a bit like the Revlon Bedroom Eyes one, a powder. I don't think it is a pencil.
The website is not very clear about it. In fact I ordered what I thought was a red lipstick is actually a neutral deep lip colour. It's still a good colour for me but I always find the lip colours to be wrong on the site.

its just such an unusual mix of colour! It looks really gold, but once its on it looks much darker. But then close up its just nice and gold.
