Get a clip- those hair dresser style ones with the ‘teeth’. Lift large bunches of hair up a little at the root and clip just the portion of the hair close to the root so it’s lifted a little and clipped. Ooh I like the curly hair one...usually to keep my volume I just poof up my hair with my hands about a sqillion times a day. Possibly this will be easier and more effective?
