Does anyone know where in Sydney I can purchase Covermark, a concealer foundation for birthmarks/acne etc? I have some which I bought over ten years ago and it works really well on my son's bad acne, however, it's not the right shade for him. The texture and the cover is really very natural though. I don't want to buy it on the net, cos I want to make sure I've got the perfect shade for him.

I have only seen it in one Priceline store. Give the head office a call in NSW and ask who stocks it. Good luck!:waving:

Hi Luisa,

Thanks for replying. I've been doing some looking around, and it appears that it's only available in Great Britain now and you can order online, but I'm hesitant to guess his colour match. I'll have a good look next time I'm in Priceline, but I'll be surprised to find it. I love looking around at Priceline, anyway.

I think I got it from Myer (Grace Bros back then) and you could also get it at chemists. It's a shame they've stopped supplying it here, as it's certainly very effective and blends in without looking like makeup. The shade I have is a bit too light for him, but he's applying lightly and carefully with a foundation brush. Hopefully, his acne will be gone by the time it runs out - he's had acne for six years now, but just started using the Covermark.

Hi Ozzygirl.

I am sure that it was the Covermark range I saw in my local Priceline. A brand available years ago was Dermablend. I will check it out when I am next there.:waving:

Hi Luisa,

Thanks for that. I will go into Priceline at Broadway, Sydney this afternoon to see if it's there. If not, I will take your advice and call Head Office of Priceline. I would be grateful if you could let me know if you find it at your Priceline, as I know different Pricelines have different stock, but Broadway is pretty big, so I'm hoping I have some luck.
Thank you for helping me with this.

No problems, I will be there over the next week. Surprisingly the huge Priceline in the city does not have it but my local Priceline Pharmacy does. That might be the key, Priceline Pharmacy instead of the regular stores. Will let you know.:waving:

Hi Luisa,

Went to Priceline yesterday and they didn't have Covermark, however, they did have the Dermablend you mentioned, which is a very similar product. Interestingly, I put some of the testers on my arm to show my son the colour difference yesterday. Had a shower this morning and the Dermablend is still clearly on my arm - this stuff is clearly very long wearing! I'm just hoping that I can get a good colour match for him as the slightly darker shade came out very orange on my arm. Thank you so much for pointing in me the right direction, as this is a definitely a possible alternative for Covermark, which I believe is only available from England now.
