i got two indian bangles from a market today - kinda hard to describe but i'll try. the first is about 1 & 1/2 cm wide, gold plated but worn (i like the effect though), engraved elephants and trees, pink wash but the engraving shows through. the 2nd is about 1 inch wide, again gold plated but worn, pieces of mother of pearl around edges, engraved branches with leaves and flowers through middle. hope it makes sense :rollthoseeyes:

I finally bought some new ones today - DKNY rectangular thickish frames, a raspberry colour (complete coincidence, I assure you!). Kind bookish but that's what makes 'em cool.

CeeJaye, mine were a 12B for many years, then at 33 they took off, and I now have the monsters I menetioned. When they are fully covered they don't look that large, but put me in a fitted top, and people talk to my chest.

Rosie I find if I have a necklace that is a real standout it is best to keep as the focal point. I would wear it with a block of colour, say all black.

Yeah brown or white, taupe. Compliementary contrasting colours are red & purple.
