Has anyone else noticed on the Adore Home Page that Adore is looking for roving reporters to write an editorial on new products you have discovered, New Brands or Even new application tips you have learned.

The best editorial each month will be published on Beauty IQ and the writer of the best article will receive a small goodie bag.

I want to be a roving reporter... Now I just have to find something fabulous to write about!!

I saw it, and just got back from reading it. I think it's a fab idea. I'd love to have a go at it.............

My article is going to have to be written at night. With a pot of tea in Laura's Teapot (LB's little one) and complete quiet around the house. I'm not telling what I am going to write about as I want it to be a surprise.

Do it VeeE, showing your writing is nothing compared to what we have discussed on the forum and if you think about it we are all actually writing when we post! We have talked about everything from Gina's to nervous breakdowns so we really aren't going to be overly shocked by anything you write. I personally would love to read anything you write. I think you have very valid things to say and great insight into the beauty field.

The thing that I'm afraid of though is not what I would write as such, but people would know that I put time and effort in, and I would be afraid that they'd think it was crap or badly written!! Don't worry about that VeeE - I am a writer and used to feel that all the time but you get used to it - besides, if team Adore chose to publish it then it means it is a great piece of writing! Go for it! I am dying to try too but cannot decide where to start...:typing:

I write for work and have had a few things published but it can still be nerve-wracking. Everything sounds so good until you think about someone else reading it, lol.

So true! I think I am still scarred from when my teacher accused me of enterting work that wasn't mine in a national competition and won it when i was younger - made me quite shy about it all!

Found a pic in the latest Myer Emporium magazine that I love. The actual eye makeup is a little pinkier than it appears in this scan. Would be a great one to copy for Beauty Reporter considering the lips would be easily matched by a Harlotte colour!

The look talks about a flawless skin with smokey eyes giving a "60's sex-kitten effect" but using added shimmer to create a modern contrast against the matte base. Bronzer and pale lipstick complete the look.

That look makes me wish I was a brunette!
