Today I purchased the Aesop Jet Set Kit from Adore Beauty. I got it to take to Melbourne with me next weekend as it contains shampoo, conditioner, body wash and body balm all in cute 50ml sizes. It only costs $35. Have any of you used Aesop Products before? I have only used:

Fabulous Face Cleanser

Fabulous Face Oil

Madarin Facial Hydrating Cream

Ginger lip balm

I love Aesop! I love that it's natural and I know some people don't like the packaging but I love it. Please tell me what you have used and what you thought of it. Thinking I might buy some more of these products!

Adore has several packs available that would make beautiful Christmas gifts.

I have used the Hand balm (absolutely brilliant and smells of mandarin!) and the Evening primrose cleanser and clay mask. Loved the mask, smelt yummy and skin feels great afterwards.

When in Melbourne, go checkout the concept stores within Myer and DJ's, you are able to touch and feel almost everything and then come home and order from Adore, at least then you wont be lugging those heavy jars back with you!:)

I always support Adore. If Adore has products that are available at Myer and D.J's or other stores I would prefer to support Adore Beauty as it is a little business (but in my opinion a much better one customer service wise) compared to say Myer and D.J's etc! I am very loyal to Adore Beauty as Kate and the girls look after me (and I'm sure they do everyone else) very well.

That's what I did!! Went and checked out the Dr Haushka cleanser and Model Co foundation colours and came home and ordered them from Adore!!:)

I do that too ... You simply cannot beat the service Adore offer. Unlike annoying sales assistants trying to push products on you.

I've tried the Chamomile Concentrate Anti Blemish Masque and I absolutely love it. I feel my scars and becoming less obvious and my cheeks are less prone to pimples now. If i ever break out in any area, I'll apply the masque overnight for 2 nights and *tadaaa* it totally subsides and does not hurt as much.

Also got samples for Amazing Face Cleanser, it cleans pretty well but I felt it was a bit too drying for my skin although I have oily skin. The Oil Free Hydrating Serum is also pretty good, my skin just soaks it up but it has a bit of shine on my skin.

I still love Aesop tho, i think the packaging is really unique and the products always smell oh so natural.

I went to the Aesop store today in Paddington (Syd). Good to see the full range. They even do facials there too. I got a heap of sample to try
Purifying Facial Cream Cleanser. I know I will love this. I currently have the Fabulous Face Cleanser but find that it is a little heavy duty for my skin.
Parsley Seed Anti-Oxident Eye Cream
Parsley Seed Cleansing Masque
Fabulous Face Oil. This smells beautiful - Ylang Ylang & Jasmine. :hearts:

I have a few Aesop products unopened but ones in rotation are
Parsely Seed Toner - excellent
Primrose Hydrating Creme - really love this.

Ha Ha! That's what my shopping partner said to me -"how many samples did you score that time? You are the sample queen!" :chuckle:
While samples are fun I also find them invaluable in finding the right product. As I tend to be sensitive on my cheeks & eyes I will always test first. I'd hate to think how much money I'd waste if I just bought everything untested. :shakehead: I especially love it when the SA goes to the extra trouble of putting some product in a little pot as they don't have any samples left. That's good customer service.

Also posted in the blog aesop thread. found this old one too and thought I'd post my question here. hope no body minds...

hmmm. I sampled AESOP last year, and the SA totally prescribed me the wrong products .... amazing cleanser, mandarin moisturiser. I did use the parsley masque - tingled my skin! ....

If I described my skin in its current state what would forum members suggest -

cleanser, toner, moisturiser (I will add these on my wishlist, until i get to aussie - as NZ charge almost double!)

skin:
soft to touch/ supple (porcelain, peaches + cream complexion)
I have 3 little bumps below my right eye (which I cant seem to get rid of!, I dont think they're pimples though)
Nose is clear but if I went under a bright light I can see that my pores on my nose are a little blocked, but you cant tell unless up/close and personal!
No fine lines or puffiness around eyes (nothing that I notice that bothers me any way)
Do not wear makeup
odd monthly spot, but never consistant
sometimes if I use the wrong product I might suffer from a dry forehead or in tense humdity oilier/sweaty/flushed cheeks

thanks girls.

Fabulous Face Cleanser
Primrose Facial Hydrating Cream

As for toners I don't like them so should be a hyprocrite and recommend one but if memory serves me they only make two anyway so I guess it's down to reading the descriptions and choosing the one you think will suit you best.

I find most masks make your skin tingly, as long as they are not burning there shouldn't be a problem.

I recommend you read up on all the products here at Adore on at Aesop's website.

I have oily skin and I love Aesop I use.

Amazing Face Cleanser
Oil Free Facial Hydrating Serum (of a day under sunscreen and makeup)
Mandarin Facial Hydrating Cream (nighttime)

And the best hand cream available on the planet - Resurrection Aromatique Hand Balm

I've tried a sample of the manderin facial cream before and i really liked it.
It was a bit heavy for daytime use though.
