I have just picked up a pair of grey volleys from Kmart which are awesome. They are like the classic volleys except the white canvas material has been replaced by grey tshirt material. Very cool!

If you or the partner are dunlop volley tragics like myself then pick up a pair.

My daughter loves Volleys. I find they have no support and give me sore feet.

There is something retro-cool about Volleys and I've been known to sport the odd pair myself, especially at music festivals where it doesn't matter if they get muddy! I love watching their process of deterioration -- they are so stark white when you first wear them, then slowly turn brownish, then greyish and holey. Now that's a well-loved pair of shoes!

At Lovebox Festival in London in 2005, I spotted an English dude wearing a perfectly white, shop-new pair of Dunlop Volleys -- apparently they were quite expensive in London, compared to the $20 they cost in Oz! So he looked after them carefully. Couldn't resist taking a photo of my shoe and its UK doppelganger... I am on the right!

Thanks for the pic Seagreen :waving: What a difference! I must admit I'm not a fan of Dunlop Volleys. But my boy bought a new pair after I told him about this thread! :chuckle:

I took Miss to check out the new grey pairs but alas even the smallest size was too big for her. Must be making them only in Men's sizing.

Luisa, they make Volleys for girls as well, I have seen heaps of sizing for girls/women in Malvern Central Target.

She has had several pairs already. Has now grown out of kiddy sizing and can wear a smaller women's but have only seen them in pink. She was really keen on the grey ones but they were only in men's sizing.

No she has loved them for ages but boy do they get ratty quickly. She took to writing all over her last pair!:shakehead: I understand that Target has a better range than Kmart so will have a look there soon. I like the one in Malvern Emmy coz then I can have lunch at Sugo across the road!:chuckle:

I love it. I time a visit there when Miss is at the Art Factory on Glenferrie Rd. Bit of shopping at Melb Central and then we have lunch at Sugo. They make a mean risotto! Can resemble Pram City sometimes though!:shakehead:
