We all like something for nothing - or to feel as if we're getting something for nothing - and a little something from a cosmetics company always comes sprinkled with a little glamour. The ''gift with purchase'', as it's known in the industry (or ''GWP'' - but ''gift set'', ''Clinique'' or ''freebie'' to us), of miniature samples or beige lipstick is being upstaged.

I am a sucker for a Gift With Purchase. I love them even if I don't like anything they are giving away it's still free and I still want it.
It's interesting how in the article they mentioned M.A.C's Fifi collection with a doll. I have never known M.A.C to offfer Gwp. It's funny how some brands offer GWP and others don't.
I am not as bad now with gwp as I once was. Years ago I was so obsessed with it I would save up my money and when they had GWP I would go in two or three times (when different people were working) and get multiple gwp packs! (gosh how desperate was I?).

Ugly green handbag from Clinique with Clinique written on it!
