Hi,

First post and it is a question one, so any help would be appreciated. I have decided to try to improve and look after my skin and so have been doing a bit of research but needed some more advice on what I actually need.

I have identified my skin type as being either oily or combination, oily around the T zone and then sometimes patches of dry flaking skin towards the outer regions of the face. I am prone to blackheads around and on my nose and the pores are visible from this, is there any product I can get that can improve this situation? Otherwise, for a daily routine from what I gather I need a good facial cleanser, a toner (an astringent one)?, a moisturiser (an oil-free one) and then possibly for less often, a facial scrub and then a shaving cream or gel.

So basically I need recommendations on these areas. I am on a somewhat limited budget (but I dont mind paying for good quality products and obviously I dont really have any previous experience with brands.

At the moment I just use neutrogena deep clean cleanser and dove soap, which I found now to not to be a good idea (bar soap on face)?

thanks
