View Full Version : What do you wear to bed..?

No - this isn't some pick up line (In year 8 this guy Karl used to go around to all the gils and ask them, "Do you sleep on your stomach?" and if they said no, he would then go, "Well can I?")
ANYHOO! I thought I'd start a thread about our bed attire of choice! Preferred brands, preferred pieces, or perhaps a la natural!
I myself am a Peter Alexander FREAK. I especially love his pj pants and boxers in cottton - flannelette doesn't quite agree with me as get hot when i sleep *cue snigeers* I have bought 'my boy' a lot of his stuff too and he loves it, his guy friends used to give him some crap (he looves shopping almost as much as me) but then they started trying to borrow them!
I also love bonds singlets! I am after a good pair of fluffly slippers (preferably pink!) heading into the warmer months to replace my pink PA uggs.
And I need a new gown - i think maybe one of those lux white fluffy ones, they always look so comfy in the movies on on TV and my perfect outfit for a night in!
Share your thoughts, chickies! :penguin:

I wear pj's. I literally have hundreds of pairs. I especially love anything by Peter Alexnder. I have at least two dozen pairs with Winnie The Pooh characters on them. I spend half my life in my P.J's and wouldn't have it any other way. One night I put on some lingerie for the boy and he said "what the hell's happened are you ill":chuckle:

hehehe so cute!!! Did he check to see if you had a temperature =P
I spend so much time in mine - I'd get home from work, be halfway through the door and alreayd peeling off my skirt and shirts and suits and heels, and you will find me curled up on the sofa with pj's on!

Oh I am the same. Basically if I am at home I am in my jarmies! In summer I wear boxers and 3/4 jarmies and I always wear nice singlets even in winter! I hate feeling restricted in my sleep. The boy wears P.J Bottoms but nothing on top, that's convenient for when I hit him in the ribs when he snores.
I sleep A la natural as you put it loolabelle :chuckle: although i am dying to get a pair of peter alexander pjs. i have a sussan dressing gown and some old duck pjs :redcheeks: i hang round in at home though.
I mix and match all the time. Have some thick flannies (Peter Al), so thin cotton pants (also Peter Al), and some stripy short 'nanna knickers' as the ex used to call them. Wear them all with singlets or long sleeve tops, whatever takes my fancy at the time.

El cheapo PJs all the way, thicker for winter.

my pj's r mostly from sussans or tarjay flannelette bottoms & knit tops for winter & a shorty knit nighty or shorty pj's for summer

I am also a PA fan, esp the coloured Uggs. Love the look of everything but find the pants a nightmare to sleep in. They are too wide leg & they ride up in bed & drive me nuts! The most comfy are Bonds hipster sleep pants.
My boy sleeps nude & would like me too but I just get too cold. Only on the hottest of nights.

Yeah I know what you mean Medusa. I have very muscular legs making them quite big but the P.A bottoms are even huge on me and I have had to have lots taken in. I can't imagine how big they must be on a smaller person.

Boy shorts or french knickers and cotton bonds singlet, only pair of PJ's i really wear are the Trelise Cooper designs from ezibuy http://www.ezibuy.co.nz/Womens/Butterfly_Sleepwear/Vintage_Butterfly_Pyjama_Pants/34556.htmprefer
Boy would prefer me to sleep nude but its just to weird, boobs get in the way and i just cant do it. Hes usually naked or fitted boxers.

Yeah the pants are great for wearing around the house but not condusive to sleeping. Shame.
The sizing is very generous, I always get XS. One time a got an off the shoulder sweat top online & when I tried it on I just fell off me! Straight off both shoulders & down to my waist. I had to return it.
FTR - I love my polarfleece dressing gown. It's so soft & warm.

Me Too! I love my royal purple polar fleece dressing gown, although I don't wear it much as I don't usually feel the cold. My Mum loves hers as she is very small and the slightest breeze makes her shiver!

I love PA but most of the pants swamp me - the XS usually fits around the waist, but my short legs disappear! I try to get the slimmer-fitting ones rather than the wide-legs. So many cute new sets out at the moment too, have to keep willing myself not to go into the store.
I have a mish-mash of sleeping gear, but it's usually just a singlet & pj pants or one of the pardner's t-shirts. Not very glam, but certainly very comfy.

Normally I sleep au naturelle but I also have a penchant for silk slips - either bona fide night gowns or vintage silk petticoats. I also have a few pairs of flannelette pjs but I actually wear them around the house more than in bed! Perth nights are relatively mild and our bedroom is at the top of the house so I get too hot in my pjs in bed.

I just love PA jammies also, and suffer the same wide leg/sizing problems as everyone else.
XS for me and they swim on me. I love wearing them around the house though and mainly buy the silk pant with
co-ordinating singlets and slippers. :redcheeks: I'm a slipper nut and like everything matching. :redcheeks:
Just love thick white egyptian towelling robes for winter and silk or cotton for summer.

So, does anyone else here have to , errrr................. restrain the girls - at night? Or just me?
I am a 12DD, and I can't sleep if I don't have them restrained in a top. One of those wire-free srop top things does the job. Not hugely attractive, but comfy.

I also have the most gorgeous towelling summer dressing gown that has massive butterflies in different colour towelling on it! I love it!

I sleep in Chesty Bonds singlets and Bonds briefs. I only wear briefs to bed as I wear g-strings most of the time. I also wear a singlet and undies in both summer and winter as I had being restricted in bed. I too also own a heap of Peter Alexander PJ's, but find these more usful for lounging around the house in.
