The earth is on an angle between the sun and the moon where the earth is reflecting back onto the moon instead of the sun (which gives it its normal white colour) Its the most amazing purple brown colour!!

I didnt even know about the moon thing. There were all these people at the restaurant next door to my work standing around outside. I thought WOW this place is packed and saw they were all looking up till one of my staff told me what was going on. It's bizarre!!

Me too! I couldn't stop singing it yesterday, much to the bemusement of my co-workers!

I was so dying to see this but in Perth it was cloudy and rainy and I missed out! I almost cried (I'm not joking) because I had been so excited! :(
