View Full Version : Need your opinions
I'm the lucky lady who gets to do some buying here at Adore, and I would love your opinions on these DIVINE gift soaps!!

They are all my favourites, and simply can't choose! I would like to order only 3. What's your opinion???

Oh my God!! They are soooo cute!
If I were buying them for myself, I'd get the Cocker Spaniel, the Owl, and the Chihuahua.
In terms of what I think more people would want to buy though, I'd probably go the Chihuahua, the Pug, and maybe one of the pink ones at the bottom??

As a Maltese Owner I would definitely want the Maltese dog. I would also buy the Teddy Bear (peluche d'antiquite) and the ducks (savon pecieux). They are so cute. I would buy the maltese ones for all my family and friends christmas stockings. As everyone knows I am a tad obsessed with my Maltese Dog Billy!
They are all so gorgeous. I want to come to Adore Beauty and work for a couple of days. Will you people let me help order things:chuckle::chuckle:!!

Personally I like the
Turtle
Hen with eggs
Owl
I think the Maltese would be a hit.
They are quite a good size.... and the gift boxes are to die for! They do, howeve, retail for between $40-$45. Ok price point??

Geez!! Not in my budget but I can see someone like PCC would still order them I thought $20 was expensive.

Hmmm, no, personally I would never spend $45 on them. The thing is, if you just leave them to be decorative and smell nice, they go dusty and a bit manky after a while, and if you use them, they lose their shape (and therefore their appeal) after a couple of uses. So either way I don't think I could justify the price. You never know though, other people might!! They could also become a bit of a cult item whereby they make good gifts (precisely because people know how exxy they are and therefore how much the giver spent....you know how people are!).

Cute but I wouldn't pay it either. Would prefer to get a beautiful body wash/bubble bath/body lotion than a soap

This might seem ridiculous but it seems that they sell on the site for $20 (as Medusa pointed out) and they have free postage for orders over $65. Why would they be $45 on Adore??

That's an American site so it's $20US, and they don't ship internationally.
We don't actually control the Aus RRP, we would be ordering them from the Aus distributor and they set the wholesale prices.

Yeah, same. I'd pay a heap for a gorgeous body wash but a soap just doesn't seem worth it to me.

Hmmmm $45 for a soap! I would still buy one of the Maltese because I collect anything with Maltese dogs. However $45 could buy a fair few other bits to stuff stockings with!

I love owls too!!! I have owl earrings and Keds with owls on them!
LOVE the Owl Keds. As mentioned in another thread I bought the owl pandora charm as my first pandora purchase! There's something so cool about them, with their little round heads!

These soaps are just THE cutest!!! but $40-45 is waaay over my budget. I thught even$20 for them was a bit much.
Almost too pretty to use arent they.

Outta my budget too! For soap? Really... I mean I'd spend that on something much nicer... and that I get more joy out of.
I have soaps that I don't use and look pretty but are such a waste... maybe if I had a big mansion, with a butler and maid etc... then sure, I'll take one of each!

They remind me of those tiny rose soaps that used to be so popular in the 80's!
I like the ducks, turtle and perched pair (birds are so popular at the moment) but wouldn't buy any myself.

Hahaha I love those! I also love those fizzy bath melt thingies that you get that are covered in foil and then paper. Ohh, and those round soaps that are covered in like pleated paper?? And the little marble-sized balls of bath oil?! Massive flashbacks to my 80s childhood!
But back to the soaps, I looooooove the Robins Eggs! I would definitely give those as a gift, I think they're so precious!

I'm sure there will be people out there who will spend that much. They're probably hard at work making money and not procrastinating online!! :chuckle:
Yeah, I'm positive people would pay that much... I even might splurge if you get the owl:whistle:

I am so getting the Maltese ones for all my favourite peoples christmas stockings. I am also going to get the owl and the piglets for myself as well. They are a little expensive but they are so me and my friends will adore them as I always give them little luxuries at Christmas and on their birthdays. You can even just get one at a time and that way you will hardly notice it on the end of your order, well that's my story and I'm sticking to it until I get them all!
