I'm back! Phew what a day. My feet are killing me and I didn't stop to eat or drink all day but the bottom line is if you can get in then go. You will all love it. There are sooooo many bargins to be had that I had to seriously restrain myself or my family would be going without food this week! :o
It is massive and along with all the big names there are many smaller stalls that are happy to sell you their product wholesale even though you are not big salon. I got so many creams, make up & tans rubbed on me that I desparately need a wash but I am here reporting for duty to fill you all in.
This is my stash.

Things I wanted to get if I had unlimited funds (and no boy to face up to :redcheeks:)....
I wanted a train case & Bayonbelle had the cutest one. Black leatherlook with miniture polksdots. It was only $70 complete with stacks of make up inside. Oh the heartache!! :tears:
Napoleon had a make up pack for $299 worth RRP $431
make up bag, auto pilot, foundation, mosaic, lip laquer, mascara, eyeliner, lipstick, 2 eyeshadows, make up voucher & 10% in store discount.
Gorgeous Cosmetics, Inika & Meli Cosmetics also had great value make up packs.
More Mancine gear - salt scrub, body wash, more creams! I love their stuff. They use natural ingrediants but salon quality.
Dermanew Microdermasion kit $100 Facial Rejuventation System.
Blinc primer & mascara $48
Danne' Montague-King travel pack with 5 products $100.
I brought the last of Pure Fiji's cocnut range but if they had more I would have brought all of it.
OPI mini Avojuice 6 pack $13
Da Vinci make up brushes. Powder brush $35
Hand Shield $20 a tube or $36 for a big pump pack.
Oh to much to list! My brain is going fuzzy

Sooo jealous Medusa!! I have that feeling of great loss like when you just miss out on a great bargin by a second in my tummy :tears: If I hadnt just forked out for my you know whats then I would have been there with you Medusa!! :hugs::waving: Soo many great bargins.
Maybe I can fly down first thing in the morning and snaffle the leftovers :shakehead::whistle::glee:
I'm glad you had a great time Medusa!! Did you wear comfy shoes?? I'm sure it would have been absolutely huge. There are literally 10's of thousands of people through the doors. Do you have any funny stories Medusa?? any crazy women?? Weird items?? Did they have that little pressure point mask there this year that looks like a butterfly masquerade mask??
Eeekkk!!! O well there's always next year!! Hey maybe we should organise an Adorables do Sydney trip to the expo!! :chuckle::chuckle: CAN YOU IMAGINE US!! PUSHING PEOPLE OUT OF THE WAY!!:whipcrack:
hope you have a nice long bath and a good play with your goodies

I was thinking the same thing but we need to organise industry ID. I just flashed a biz card but they didn't even look at it. I recognised many "civilians" scamming their way in. I still have my pass if any of you Sydney chicks want to go today. PM me.
I wore my leopard print ballet flats but by the time I powerwalked the kilometre from the train station (don't ask) I had a blister. I went flat out all day just going thru the aisles systematically so I didn't rest at all, there wasn't time!
Yes it was packed even though Saturday many people work so Sunday would be mayhem. Still some stands were sold out of things by lunchtime.
TBA I wanted to get your magic peeling glove but they were selling it for retail. :( Fake Bake were also selling those packs we got $5 dearer than Adore??
Yes I saw many strange things including getting gem stones glued onto your teeth. :vomit:
There were tons of bikini clad models (& a few buff boys) showcasing spray tans and all manner of electrical equipment. I would love to go back to look at all the procedures carefully but I can't trust myself not to buy anything! Lots of visitors were trying out facials & procedures too. I guess they get a facial then go to one of the many make up stalls & get their make up done. Pretty good deal.
There were tons of stalls doing the semi-permanant eyelash thing. This is going to be everywhere, so hopefully the price will come down. I would have liked to get some done but you had to line up & as I said - no time!

My way of scanning M!
Sounds as though you had a thorough shop-a-thon and definately purchased brilliantly. :worship:
You can't beat OPI for quality and longivity. OPI also sell a product for rejuvenating and preserving older or well used polishes that are thickening, adds years to product life, this is great for obsessive collectors of polishes you could never hit pan on in your lifetime. :chuckle:

May I say just quickly that the Melbourne show has been chaged and geared around mostly education/seminars etc and not nearly as much/as good trade/stalls as Sydney. I would say (and not to be a party pooper) to hold out for Sydney which is normally around Aug/Sept :penguin::penguin::penguin:
I'm soo in. We could book out a floor of one of the hotles around Pyrmont/Darling Harbour and run a muck :glee::whistle:. Star City anyone???:clapping::penguin:

I am in! i agree with TBA though, the Melbourne one is a bit sad in comparison although when I was at the Sydney one years ago, most stalls would only sell you product as they were packing up on the Sunday - glad things have changed!
Anyone know the date for the next Syndey one, would they already have planned it? (Reason, doing my planner for students for next year - this way I can work around it! Sshhh!)

Oh cool! I'm in too & now I am already registed for every show! :penguin:
I may be able to wrangle a pass or 2 as well.
I found most stalls were selling products. The big stands however (Dermalogica, Alpha H, Thalgo etc) only wanted to talk to potential clients - understandably.

Oh my goodness I was. Beauty products & wholesale prices!! :penguin: I was beside myself!
I reached a point where I decided I'd better stop (spending) and the only way to do that was leave. But my sis-in-law kept dragging me around saying "look at this! It's only $100 thats cheap! You have got to get it" I kept saying no more your brother (my boy) is going to kill me as it is. On the train on the way home I was busy trying to consolidate all my stuff into minimal bags. I got it down to 2 show bags & stashed all the small stuff in my handbag. :ashamed:
PCC I don't think you would have been bankrupt as everything was so cheap but you def would have been hyperventillating!
