I received my Almond Apple L'Occitane products yesterday:clapping:! I am besotted with them. They smell absoultely amazing and I couldn't resist giving them a little try. I have only used them once but if first impressions are anything to go by I am mega impressed.
Almond Apple Cleansing Oil - I never thought I would say this but this product seriously gives Dermalogica's Precleanse a run for its money. It smells heavenly and only costs $38.95 for a 200ml pump bottle. So more product for less money in comparrison to the Dermalogica (and we all know how pinkcupcake loves her Dermalogica)! It also doesn't require you to use a seperate cleanser afterwards. My skin felt so clean and soft after I used it and eventhough I would ordinarily use a clanser after an oil I really didn't feel it was necessary with the L'Occitane Almond Apple Cleansing Oil.
Almond Apple Toning Cider - The apple and almond oil in this combine together to make your skin both super soft and refined. My skin felt very well hydrated but not greasy at all and my pores seemed to tighten up instantaneously. The smell is so gorgeous I am going to demand they make a perfume in it!!
Almond Apple Velvet Concentrate - This is a medium textured moisturiser. I thought I would only be able to use it on my cheeks due to my combination skin but found it was perfectly fine even on my slightly oily t-zone. My skin felt soft, rfined and well hydrated after use.
I am going to order the Almond Apple Peel over the weekend as I forgot to order it the other day. I am loving this range and it's definitely my current favourite skin care.

You won't regret it Celeste, they are gorgeous products. I wouldn't rate them against my Dermalogica if they weren't pretty special!

I have! It just came in on Friday. It smells minty/citrusy, and has a cold menthol feeling when you put it on your legs - lovely in hot weather or if you have been on your feet a lot.

I know, I went through a L'Occitane phase last year, an OBSESSIVE one! OMG I would just dream of L'Occitane products. It's the smell, the packaging, the ethos, the "everyday luxe" feeling.....oooh I love it.

Just have to say I am loving the L'Occitane apple & almond range. I seriously can see a difference in my skin, my pores are so much smaller. I love the smell, I love how moisturised I feel, I love how soft my skin is when I wake up... Gorgeous range.

I want to marry L'Occitane. Well actually I'd like to be polyamous with L'Occitane and Kiehls! Mainly on the basis of the fact that I love a good store layout! :chuckle:

Hmmm not really sure. I sometimes break out before a period, but not always. I have some open pores on my cheeks and nose, but I can go weeks without a single pimple but then sometimes get quite a few with stress/period.. I sometimes get a couple of blackheads or blockages but I wouldn't look at my skin and think it was a major problem. I'm a few months off 30 now so I worry about fine lines and wrinkles. But I don't have many, I hate the sun, so I stay out of it as much as I can. I wear the Becca SPF primer + foundation. Some products make my skin red, so it's a bit sensitive. So not overly oily, not dry, not overly sensitive.. I think pores and texture would be my primary concern. I think
But yeah, the pores have definitely gotten smaller on my cheeks and nose. My brother told me oregano oil closes pores but they have to be clean first.. so I might try that too ;)

When I grow up and become a Princess I want a huge bathroom full of plush white towels and fresh flowers and L'Occitane. Is that too much to ask? I want the ENTIRE range of L'Occitane on my shelves so I can just pick what I want to use that day!

Last night I tried a sample of the Ultra Comforting Mask.
http://www.adorebeauty.com.au/adorebeauty/viewitem.asp?idproduct=11574
It is the most amazingly soothing and hydrating mask! There is no scent to it and uses ingredients that are grown organically. It contains shea butter, organic cotton extract (?) and liquorice (soothing). I used this on my face and neck and included the area under my eyes. The instructions actually say to leave on for 5-10 minutes then just tissue off the excess (like Clarins' Hydrating Mask). I had mine on for a bit longer and a lot of it was already absorbed by the skin so there was not much to remove.
I used this last night so this ended up being my night time treatment too. My skin was so soft and plumped up. The consistently dry area under my eyes was gone too. This is super stuff! If you have ultra sensitive skin that needs a moisture boost, grab this one. Really well priced too.

Welcome Spring Garden!
I adore the almond apple cleansing oil – not only does it smell lovely and comes in that cute bottle but it works a treat and is really gentle. Be careful of the missile pump action though or you may get oil splurted all over the bathroom.

:glee:Hi Jaime & Sophie,
Thanks for the warning about the pump action, especially when I had that experience with a bottle of Olive Oil today, it is everywhere I didn't want it. I am new at this posting of thoughts etc so only hope I am putting them in the right place. We are having a new bathroom put in at the moment so was also prompted to get some products that look great as well as work great. ::waving:
