I know quite a few of us read the Shop mag but my boy is not really interested in the latest fashions, in fact he is perplexed. I thought I would create this thread to discuss your faves in the mag.

I notice Pg 166 that Sohum have a new Body creme I must add to my collection - Jonquil. Beautiful!

I want to get that Clinique GWP (more so for the subsciption card!) but I have not bought any Clinique since my teens. I want to try the make up remover - Take the Day off. What else is worth getting?

I am really tempted to buy some Clinique stuff to, to get the gift with the magazine special.

Clinique eye shadows are good, and their colour surge glossy lip glosses.

I love shop til you drop magazine! Clinique makeup is gorgeous. I recently got the new blush that's been heavily advertised, it's gorgeous. The colour surge eye shadows are also beautiful with great texture and very good blendability. I haven't tried their plumping glosses and was wondering if anyone else has and if so do they sting the lips?

PCC is that the blush powder with the peony imprint? So pretty, I'd love to try it. Is it like a highlighter as well?

Yep it sure id the one with the Peony imprint. It is gorgeous, I only need a tiny little bit but you can keep adding more for a higher impact. It blends in really effectively and I find using a really big brush (the bigger the better) gives a more natural looking application.

I think this magazine is ok. Quite boring fashion sometimes. I mainly just get it if I see something in it I like.
But in the latest issue they have some cool natural/eco friendly beauty products listed.

I always end up blushing at the supermarket counter, I feel sorry for the young dudes that have to scan that thru, the funny thing is 9 times out of 10 I buy my magazine when I need Tampax and Chocolate... :redcheeks: so that doesn't help the situation!

haha - I used to love sending my dad to go get my stocked up on period stuff (i was normally screaming, passed out on the floor or out cold on panadeine forte) too funny.

I don't get embarrassed at all - one time I was there and the guy got a bit nervous and weird and was taking ages, and I commented "If youy mum never had a period, you wouldn't even be here - just scan it already, it won't hurt you, I'm the one in pain!"

I love Shop til You Drop - Though I am a magazine *****, if you ever want one, I will have a selection of seven current ones plus stored back issues hehe

My faves would have to be Marie Clare, Instyle and Shop Til You Drop. I also will get Cosmo and/or Cleo depending on content, but normally end up getting it before the month is out, and Madison I will get - New Woman sometimes but not every month, I alos buy Good Taste and Table, and I am a suscriber to Money and Diabetic. I also buy Slimming and Health most months.

This doesn't include any one of OK!, Woman's Day, New Idea, NW and Who that I will buy on a lonely Sunday or late at night.

I LOVE my magazines, it's my guilty pleasure and I don't plan to give it up! NW is pretty good, and the boy got me into OK! Oh I cannot leave magazines unread!! I have usually torn off the plastic cover of my subscription mags before I even reach the front door, and those that I buy are pretty much always read straight away, as soon as I get home! It's really bad and very distracting, so I make sure not to buy mags when I know I have work to do. As for the subscriptions, well, they just have to get read and work be damned!

This is what used to happen when you subscribed to a magazine but these days most of mine arrive the same time they go on general sale - or even worse days later!

Now this is what subscribing to a magazine is all about!

I opened an email sent today by Shop til you Drop and at the bottom stated that the November issue goes on sale next Monday. I just happened to get mine in the mail yesterday. This is what used to happen when you subscribed to a magazine but these days most of mine arrive the same time they go on general sale - or even worse days later!

Do you save any money with Shop TIl You Drop? I will subscribe then, I think with MC or Instyle you don't so I have bothered. I am only suscribed to Money and Diabetic atm, even though I buy every magazine every month hehe.

I have several from oz. It is definitely cheaper. I was lucky, when I signed up to Shop, it was still only being produced 11 times a year. A month after I had paid up, they changed it to every month!:penguin:
