It’s not everyday that one get’s to recline in a robe with the head make up artist for L’Oreal fashion week (and the Logies) doing your face. With Nigel hard at work I relaxed in my fluffy robe and slippers. Only unique thing here was that I was not about to launch myself down the catwalk or tread the red carpet. I was about to walk on set in my pyjamas and pink fluffy slippers with hair by Nigel cultivated to look much like a birds nest.

Yesterday I shot a TV commercial, yes indeedy, and it was not as glam as one might think. I can tell you right now that it’s a bit worrying when you feel right at home in front of a crew of twelve in your bathrobe and slippers. It’s a little ironic that I preach about beauty blasphemy yet I am prepared to let the nation be privy to my state of morning chaos. I promise that this will be the only time you will see this kind of spectacle unless you happen to walk past as I do a quick dash for the morning paper.

Hey Gals,

sorry for the delay! The ad is for foodworks you see me in my Pj's and then dolled up ready for the day..

Make up tips... hmmmm.... nigel uses white Kohl pencil on the inner eye to brighten the eye.. it looks quite cool.

TV make up is about keeping it matte (which Nigel hates- he is about shimmer and glam). I like a reletively matte finish to my foundation so I was not so keen on the reflective one he used. I liked the use of concealer under the eye area as in not directly under the eye, but in the apple of the cheek area but more central under the eyes... it makes the area look luminous.

That's all the new tips I can think of for now...
